很多朋友在備考過程中喜歡背一下生僻詞和長難詞，但又常常記不清楚它們使用的句型搭配或者分不清它們的态度導緻用錯情景。與其浪費時間在難詞、生詞上，不如關注常見小詞的多樣用法。這樣會讓你的表達更道地，詞彙分也不會低哦。
今天我們來看看第一個詞——pin
pin這個詞不少人都熟識，作名詞時，指“大頭針；胸針”。我們平時說的U形針，英文便是U-shaped pins。
關于名詞pin有一個很形象的表達：
be on pins and needles（口語+寫作）
字面上指“像在針上面一樣”，表示“坐立不安”，和中文裡的“如坐針氈”有異曲同工之妙。英文解釋是to be very nervous and unable to relax, 。

pin the blame on sb（寫作）
這個詞組的字面含義是“将罪過釘在某人身上”，引申為“怪罪某人”，常用在别人沒有做的情況下。類似于“甩鍋”的意思。英文釋義：to make sb be blamed for sth, especially for sth they did not do

pin sth on sb, pin the blame on sb 這兩個短語與平時用的put the blame on sb, blame on sb更形象，也更有沖擊力，但注意pin sth on sb 和pin the blame on sb多了一層推卸責任的意思。
pin one’s hopes/faith on sb（寫作）
pin one’s faith/hopes on sb 字面意思是“将信念釘在某人身上”，即表示“把希望寄托于某人”。英文解釋是 to rely on sb/sth completely for success or help。
使用時要注意：
faith是不可數名詞，前面不用冠詞，後面也不用加s：pin faith on sb
hope是可數名詞，需要在後面加上s：pin hopes on sb
