Wuhan Central Hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology was founded in 1880, spanning three centuries, and has continued to move forward in reform and development, and has gone through 140 glorious years. On December 20, 2020, the 140th Anniversary Commemoration Of Wuhan Central Hospital and the 4th Micro-innovation Technology Forum of Wuhan Central Hospital were held in the conference room on the 22nd floor of Renji Building of Wuhan Central Hospital.
The conference was hosted by Professor Guo Yonglian of the Department of Urology of Wuhan Central Hospital, and first of all, Professor Guo delivered a welcome speech. The years do not live, the seasons are like a stream. It's time to take stock of the harvest and plan for the future, and it's great to be able to gather here on such an early winter afternoon to learn from each other. Although the sudden outbreak of new crown pneumonia has completely disrupted the normal rhythm of people's lives and work. However, Wuhan Central Hospital has taken new measures under the "new normal", on the one hand, it has been cautious in grasping the prevention and control of the epidemic as always, and on the other hand, it has gone all out to grasp the normal diagnosis and treatment services; the sound of the horn urges people to recruit people, and the mission is in charge. Do not forget the original intention, advocate academics, and actively carry out academic exchanges. At present, the domestic epidemic situation tends to be stable, and for the people of Wuhan Central Hospital, the learning process has never stopped! President Yang Ming of Wuhan Central Hospital delivered a speech. Extending a heartfelt welcome to all the guests, we introduced the history and current development of the hospital, especially highlighting the rapid development of urology in recent years without the support of higher hospitals and the help of sister hospitals. President Yang stressed that this is the fourth micro-innovative technology forum held by the Department of Urology of our central hospital, and its core lies in the two points of "minimally invasive" and "new", which is highly consistent with the current general trend of medical reform, and also reflects the spirit of continuous self-innovation and self-transcendence of our central hospital.
