Ji Fang, king of Zhou Xiao, was the eighth king of Western Zhou, and his courtesy name was King Xiao of Zhou. Younger brother of King Gong of Zhou, uncle of King Yi of Zhou. King Yi of Zhou seized the throne after his death. After reigning for 6 years, he died of illness and was buried in an unknown place.

In 892 BC, King Yi of Zhou died of illness and was supposed to be succeeded by the crown prince Ji Xie, but the prince was cowardly and incompetent, and the capable emperor Ji Peifang took the opportunity to seize the throne.

After Ji Peifang ascended the throne, he was bent on trying to revive the Zhou Dynasty. He first revitalized his military strength, opened up a large pasture on the grassland between The Water and the Weishui River, and used heavy money to recruit connoisseurs to raise horses. There was a recruit named Fei Zi, who raised horses with fat legs, and after a year, the number of horses more than doubled, and Ji Peifang was very satisfied, so he gave him dozens of miles of land in Qin and became a small monarch attached to the neighboring princes, which was the birthplace of the Qin Dynasty that would unify China in the future. However, Ji Peifang did not wait until the ideal of revitalizing the Zhou Room was realized, and he fell ill and died. Yangjia Village, Mei County, Shaanxi Province, unearthed the inscription "Kui Pan" as the king of Kao.

King Ji Xie of Zhou reigned from 885 BC to 878 BC, 8 years.

Ji Xie, King of Zhou Yi, the ninth king of Western Zhou, Prince Yi of Zhou, nephew of King Xiao of Zhou. The "Records of History" refers to him as the King of Yi, and the Bronze Inscriptions of the Western Zhou Dynasty mostly refer to him as the King of Yi.

Wang Sannian "cooked Qi Mourning Gong Yuding". In the seventh year of The King of Yi, he ordered the Duke of Yu to cut down taiyuan zhirong, and as for Yu Quan, he received a thousand horses. When the King of Zhou Yi was king, the royal family was small, and the princes or not dynasty were fighting each other. According to the inscription of the White Plate of Yu Jizi, the King of Zhou Yi ordered Yu Jizi Bai to lead an army to defeat Yan Xi.

After the death of King Yi of Zhou, he was succeeded by his son Ji Hu the Prince of Zhou.
