According to the official website of the Counsellor's Office of the State Council (Central Research Museum of Culture and History), Mr. Jin Moru, a librarian of the Central Research Museum of Literature and History and a member of the China Artists Association, died in Beijing at the age of 81 at 1:17 on February 7, 2019 due to ineffective medical treatment.

According to public information, Jin Moru was born in Beijing in 1938, a descendant of Aixin Jueluo, and in 1956, he studied and created freehand flower and bird paintings under the famous flower and bird painter Mr. Wang Xuetao. In 1981, Jin Moru's works were invited by the China Association for the Promotion of International studies to participate in a painting exhibition held in Canada. In the same year, Jin Moru held a solo exhibition in London, England, and has since held many exhibitions at home and abroad.

In 1994, the State Nationalities Commission held the "Great Exhibition of Chinese National Calligraphy and Painting", and Jin Moru won the "Excellent National Artist" award. In 2000, Jin Moru's work "Peony Figure" was selected into the "Century Collection" of the China History Museum and published a picture album. Jin Moru later served as vice chairman of the Art Association of the Ministry of Construction of China and vice president of the Yuelu Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute in Hunan Province.

Jin Moru is good at small freehand paintings of flowers and birds and long calligraphy, and his painting style is free and his brushwork is vigorous and delicate. His "small freehand" flower and bird paintings contain connotations, healthy mood, deep verdant poetry, pen and ink, tone and from the whole to the part, the rhythm and melody are all sonorous and harmonious, the view is pleasant, and the thoughts flutter with the realm and scenery in the painting.
