Guo Keli is the younger brother of guo Kanfeng, a former Taishan team member, and I am an old friend of Guo Kanfeng, and Guo Keli is in the national team with Kong Linghui, Liu Guoliang and Liu Guozheng under Yin Xiao.
In August 1999, the newspaper sent me to the Netherlands to cover the World Table Tennis Championships, Yin Xiao was the head coach of the Chinese men's team, and since then I have become good friends with Yin Xiao.
I remember there was a men's singles match, Guo Keli played against a Greek player, Yin Xiao sat in the command seat, and I sat on his side. Yin Xiao likes to be quiet, and his biggest hobby is Go. Go is a feature of Jinan 27, and the school's Go class is well known. Yin Xiao saw this clearly, and he patiently told Liu Guoliang, "Whether to change the way of playing is what Director Xu (Xu Yinsheng) has studied for a long time before deciding. In 2003, Liu Guoliang officially hung up the auction, took over the class of his mentor Yin Xiao, served as the head coach of the Chinese men's table tennis team, and successively led the Chinese men's table tennis team to participate in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the 2012 London Olympic Games, the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, and led the Chinese men's table tennis team to win the men's singles and team championships in the next four Olympic Games. Liu Guoliang also trained two Grand Slam champions, Zhang Jike and Ma Long.

At that time, Yin Xiaogang took Liu Guoliang and Kong Linghui and spent all his energy on them. That year, Yin Xiao's son was born shortly after, and he had little time to take care of his wife and children. Liu Guoliang and Kong Linghui were very smart, understood why Yin Xiao drank a little more wine, and felt ashamed in their hearts, when the two shed tears of self-blame.

When he first came to Shandong, Yin Xiao vowed to Yu Xuetian, then the director of the Shandong Provincial Sports Bureau, that he would train one or two "Liu Guoliang" and "Kong Linghui" for Shandong. However, half a year later, due to the national team's preparation for the Athens Olympic Games, the Table Tennis And Badminton Management Center recalled Yin Xiao back to Beijing as the coaching team leader of the men's team.
In 2004, Yin Xiao returned to Luneng, why returned to Luneng to coach, Yin Xiao told me that Shandong only produced two world champions, one is Liu Wei, the other is Qiao Yunping, but the male team has not yet won a world championship, his wish is to train one or two world champions for Shandong, but it must start from the child.
Yin Xiao also said that he likes to take children, if he can train one or two world champions for Shandong, especially the men's world champions, it will be a very meaningful thing to rewrite the history of table tennis in Shandong.
After Yin Xiao returned to Luneng, he found that the club was more standardized, the selection of materials and points was also more, the club built two bases in Weifang and Qingdao, Yin Xiao suddenly selected more than 10 small players with good conditions, and planned to cultivate a world champion among them.
In 1998, Gu Qingcheng, the head coach of the Shandong table tennis team, first discovered Zhang Jike and thought that he would become a great instrument in the future. After Yin Xiao arrived in Luneng in 2001, Zhang Jike's father recommended his son to Yin Xiao, who thought that Zhang Jike had the potential to be a world champion and began to work hard to cultivate him.
Ten years of grinding a sword, Zhang Jike in the 2011 Rotterdam World Table Tennis Championships, the 2011 Paris World Cup, the 2012 London Olympic Games, all stood on the men's singles podium, becoming the third Chinese men's table tennis grand slam champion after Liu Guoliang and Kong Linghui, and also fulfilled the promise made by his mentor Yin Xiao when he went to Shandong.
