Speaking of Zhuge Liang, I am afraid that everyone in the country knows and knows that as the core role in the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", one of the four classical masterpieces, Zhuge Liang is the embodiment of wisdom in the minds of the Chinese people. Many idioms and post-break words are related to Zhuge Liang, which shows the great influence of Zhuge Liang in the minds of ordinary Chinese people.
So far, there have been many film and television works with the theme of the Three Kingdoms on the screen, and many versions of Zhuge Liang's image have been created. 1. Zheng Shaoqiu's version of Zhuge Liang
In 1985, Hong Kong Asia Television created a TV series called "Zhuge Liang", directed by Li Lizhi and others, and starring well-known Hong Kong actors such as Zheng Shaoqiu and Michelle. Among them, Zheng Shaoqiu, the "Autumn Official" we are familiar with, played the role of Zhuge Liang, a famous minister throughout the ages. Although we cannot deny that Zheng Shaoqiu playing Zhuge Liang is also very dedicated and serious, Zhuge Liang played by Zheng Shaoqiu always makes the audience jump the drama. After all, Zheng Shaoqiu's most classic roles are "Xiang Shuai" Chu Liuxiang and "Qianlong Emperor", "Red Flower Society Helmsman" Chen Jialuo or Ding Crab in "Big Time".
Second, Li Fazeng version of Zhuge Liang
Coincidentally, in 1985, the mainland also broadcast a TV series called "Zhuge Liang", in which the famous mainland performance artist Li Fazen played the role of Zhuge Liang. As an actor and vice president of the Central Experimental Drama Theatre, Mr. Li Fazeng once won the Outstanding Actor Award of the Sixth National Outstanding TV Series "Feitian Award". With superb acting skills, he vividly interpreted Zhuge Liang's spirit of worrying about the country and the people, bowing down to death, and then dying, which left a deep impression on the audience at that time.
In 1994, the CCTV version of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" had planned to let Li Fa continue to play the role of Zhuge Liang in the play, because at this time, Li Fa Zeng's teacher was older, which did not match the image of Zhuge Liang's youth appearance in the play, so he chose a younger and handsome Tang Guoqiang to play.
Third, Tang Guoqiang's version of Zhuge Liang
In 1994, the CCTV version of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" met with the audience, which immediately aroused strong repercussions in the entire Chinese-speaking world, and this long-form drama "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" filmed and produced by CCTV with hundreds of millions of yuan was even exported to Japan, South Korea, Thailand and other places. The role of Zhuge Liang in the play is played by Tang Guoqiang. Previously, Tang Guoqiang had experienced four years of acting empty windows, and urgently needed a masterpiece to further invigorate his acting career, just like Zhuge Liang in the play had been dormant in Wollongong for many years, and urgently needed Mingjun to help him realize his ideal ambitions. General director Wang Fulin felt that Tang Guoqiang's life experience and Zhuge Liang were full of too many points of convergence, so he vigorously defied the public opinion and finally finalized Tang Guoqiang as Zhuge Liang's actor - originally Tang Guoqiang was invited to play another opponent of Zhuge Liang, Zhou Yu.
During the deduction, Tang Guoqiang also lived up to expectations. It is said that during the filming, Tang Guoqiang needed to memorize a large number of lines because of more literary dramas, so in addition to filming, basically memorized the lines, although the shooting conditions were very difficult at that time, Tang Guoqiang still spent a lot of effort to figure out the inner world of Zhuge Liang's characters, and finally cast one of the most classic and iconic characters in the history of Chinese television dramas.
4. Jincheng Wu Edition
In 2009, Wu Yusen's another historical drama masterpiece "Chibi" met with the audience, and the role of Zhuge Liang in the film was played by Jin Chengwu, a famous handsome man in the Chinese-speaking industry. Although we can't deny Jin Chengwu's sunny handsomeness, to be fair, Jin Chengwu's version of Zhuge Liang doesn't have much of a bright spot. After all, "Chibi" as a commercial blockbuster, the main creative staff mainly consider whether the actors in the film can attract enough attention and create enough box office, as for the fit between the actors themselves and the role, the level of acting has become a secondary factor.
Fifth, Lu Yi's version of Zhuge Liang
Often some viewers like to compare the version played by Lu Yi and Tang Guoqiang in Gao Xixi's "New Three Kingdoms", in fact, Gao Xixi's "New Three Kingdoms" is a synthesis of the content in "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", and for Zhuge Liang's shaping, there have been many different places from the original work. Therefore, directly comparing the two roles is actually not much sense. Comparatively speaking, Ghosh's version of "New Three Kingdoms" is more delicate in its portrayal of the character's heart, further presenting some of the character's personalities from different angles, including the conflicts and contradictions between the characters, and the scenes and martial arts in the film have also been greatly improved. However, Zhuge Liang, played by Lu Yi, is obviously still a certain degree of fire compared with Tang Guoqiang.
If you simply compare Lu Yi and Tang Guoqiang's interpretation of the role of Zhuge Liang, then Tang Guoqiang seems to have become Zhuge Liang himself, and Lu Yi's version is still struggling to catch up and imitate.
6. Wang Luoyong's version of Zhuge Liang
In the popular drama "Tiger Xiaolong Yin of the Military-Master Alliance" a few years ago, Zhuge Liang, played by Wang Luoyong, also left a very deep impression on the audience. Although "The Alliance of Military Masters" is based on Zhuge Liang's nemesis Sima Yi as the protagonist, the storyline unfolded, but this does not affect Wang Luoyong's superb interpretation and high-level play in the play, and zhuge Liang's role is very expressive and god-like.
