When John Walker, played by Wyatt Russell, was announced to be the new Captain America at the end of the first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
He dedicates a super greasy wink to the world.
Previous director Carly Skogrand said in an interview that the blinking action was improvised by Russell.
They were also very satisfied with this impromptu play.
Russell also spoke about this blink in an interview with Esquire.
"It's an improvisation, a little improvisation. Carly (the director) was moving the camera at different angles in the shoot, and I think I just looked at the camera and blinked. ”
"I don't know why I'm doing this, I think I might just be [blinking] as a joke."
"But it did work, a wink that made everyone absolutely despise, I think so. Everyone hates it. ”
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will air its sixth episode on Friday, April 23, the last episode of the series.
After the end of the winter hunt, the next Marvel series to be broadcast will be "Rocky" on June 11.
