Sanlitun Taikoo Li West District has a total of 10 floors, with a total area of about 27,500 square meters. According to Ma Zedan, general manager of Sanlitun Taikoo Li, during the trial operation of the Western District, the average daily passenger flow on weekends was about 20,000 people. Designed by a world-renowned architectural design firm, the existing internal structure of the building is optimized into a more open floor space, and the façade adopts a large-area glass curtain wall as a whole, and upgrades such as elevators, escalators, lighting and other convenient facilities to enhance the customer experience.

The urban renewal of Taikoo Li In Sanlitun does not stop there. The reporter learned that next year, Sanlitun will launch a business circle growth partner action plan to promote the overall planning and upgrading of various commercial projects.
After the unveiling of the Western District, Sanlitun Taikoo Li will also start the northern expansion of the Northern District. In August this year, the Chaoyang District Government, Beijing Bus Group and Swire Properties signed a cooperation framework agreement to jointly renovate and upgrade the land on the north side of Taikoo Li North District in Sanlitun to create a new landmark of urban business culture. According to reports, the three parties are currently studying the cooperation model, the north expansion project volume is larger, covering an area of about the sum of the two districts of the north and south of Sanlitun Taikoo Li, will be built into an open block.
Sun Shuguang, secretary of the Sanlitun Street Working Committee, introduced that in the future, the workers' body and Sanlitun Taikoo Li will form two "pearls" of Sanlitun, and the two sides will initiate the establishment of an autonomous institution of the business circle alliance, launch a business circle growth partner action plan, and form a benign communication and dislocation operation in the business circle. Sun Shuguang said that after the completion of the transformation of the worker's body, nearly 100,000 square meters of commercial space will be released underground, in addition, sanlitun SOHO, which is currently scattered, will also explore a new path of format adjustment.
