Since 2021, Shanghai has added 1993 new breakfast outlets, a total of 2505, 634 new compound stores, a total of 964, key breakfast enterprise layout online reservation cabinets (stores) to take 1186, a total of 1545, set up 900 intelligent food cabinets, put breakfast self-service vending machines and unmanned breakfast trucks 206 units, to achieve the three-year goal of two years to achieve.

In order to facilitate the public to inquire, under the leadership of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Municipal Big Data Center has done a good job in platform and technical support, and officially launched the "Breakfast Map" service in the "With The Application" APP, the "With the Application" WeChat, and the Alipay Mini Program, providing Shanghai citizens with the handheld check of the breakfast service outlets in Shanghai. Citizens can combine their own usage habits, choose the "breakfast map" at any end to enter the service, and search for breakfast outlets and services such as breakfast buffet machines, smart food cabinets, car restaurants, and community canteens according to the distance. Since its trial run at the end of September, the Breakfast Map service has been visited more than 124,000 times.
As of the end of November, 108 chain enterprise headquarters have entered the platform, 13152 fixed outlets, 746 mobile outlets information into management, and established a breakfast outlet information update mechanism. The construction of the "breakfast map" also guides enterprises to speed up the deployment of points, this year, the downtown area and suburban urbanization area basically achieved the goal of setting up breakfast outlets every 1000 meters or so, and residents can walk about 15 minutes to reach the breakfast supply point, basically meeting the breakfast needs of the public.
The Municipal Commission of Commerce said that the "breakfast map" is an important part of smart breakfast. Through the verification and collection management of the city's breakfast chain outlets, mobile food trucks and other data, the platform optimizes the real-time query method, plays the role of the third-party platform, forms a visual breakfast map, and will regularly update the breakfast outlet information in the future to connect with the big data center to facilitate the public to query the breakfast outlets.
In 2022, Shanghai will continue to take the smart breakfast as the starting point and make every effort to promote digital empowerment. Vigorously promote online booking cabinet (shop) pickup, "Internet + breakfast service", continue to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional breakfast enterprises, optimize services, and plan to add 500 new online booking cabinets (stores) in 2022.
