The content of this revision is still reflected in the calculation of Olympic points. The original Olympic eligibility document stipulated that the beijing Winter Olympics points need to be calculated for the sum of the World Cup points for the two seasons, and in November 2020, the International Bobsleigh Federation revised this part to change to: Olympic points only calculate the sum of the seven World Cup points for the 2021-2022 season. Now, less than 50 days before the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Olympic points system algorithm has changed again, adjusted to: in the 2021-2022 Season of the 7 World Cups, take the sum of the highest points in 4 stations.
The Beijing Winter Olympic Bobsleigh Competition has four events: men's single, women's single, double bobsleigh and team relay, and 106 athletes will participate in the Bobsleigh Event of the Winter Olympics. The qualification system for bobsleigh events at the Beijing Winter Olympics stipulates that each national (regional) delegation can send up to 3 male and female athletes to participate in single-person events, and double bobsleigh events can send up to two teams of doubles, while athletes participating in team relay events must be selected from athletes who have already qualified for single and double olympic qualifications.

According to the latest World Cup standings released by the International Bobsleigh Federation, the Chinese team won 1 spot in each of the four sub-events of men's singles, women's singles, doubles and team relay. In the men's single sledding, Fan Duoyao, Bao Zhenyu, Arabati Ahmat and Jubay Seckyi all met the minimum participation standards of the Beijing Winter Olympics. In the women's single sleigh, Wang Peixuan, Hu Huilan, Gu lijie naiti AdikeYumu and Liu Xinyi all met the minimum participation standards for the Beijing Winter Olympics. Double bobsleigh, the only double bobsleigh combination of the Chinese team, Huang Yebo/Peng Junyue, although it failed to enter the top 25 finalists, but according to the rules of the team relay race, the Chinese team filled the missing items, the double project was qualified in real time, and at the same time, the team relay project was automatically shortlisted.
