Alleviating the anxiety of charging new energy vehicles Sinopec put into operation at the first charging and replacing station in Shanghai

Xinmin Evening News (reporter Ye Wei) Today, in the Sinopec new refining gas station located at No. 157 Zhongshan North Road, Shanghai Petroleum's first charging and replacement integration demonstration station equipped with 22 fast charging parking spaces and 1 Weilai box replacement power station was put into operation.

Shanghai is accelerating the construction of a green transportation energy system. Up to now, pure electric vehicles account for more than 50% of the newly purchased vehicles by individuals; official vehicles and sanitation vehicles of state-owned enterprises and institutions account for more than 80%. Shanghai has issued policies to support sinopec and other state-owned enterprises to give full play to their diversified operating advantages, tap the site resources of their own or operating places, build operational charging and replacement sites, open charging services to industry vehicles, and support social entities such as charging facility operators to build operational charging and replacement sites through market-oriented operation methods.

Since last year, Sinopec Shanghai Petroleum has used the gas station's own site resources to build operational charging and replacement stations to alleviate people's livelihood problems such as the difficulty of parking and charging electric vehicles.

The new refining gas station put into operation today covers an area of about 1300 square meters, and the charging and replacing power station covers an area of about 600 square meters. The refueling area and the charging and replacing area are set independently, with a large site and convenient vehicle access, which can meet the charging needs of 500 new energy vehicles in a single day. On the day of the camp, more than 10 taxis, online ride-hailing cars, etc. came to "taste the new". Mr. Ni, a taxi driver, said: "Charging for about 20 minutes, you can run 200 kilometers, recharge twice a day, run down, and save nearly 50% of the cost than when you refueled before."

The charging and replacing integrated station can meet the needs of 22 electric vehicles charging at the same time. The power exchange facility is a NIO generation box replacement power station, and the average time for a vehicle to change power is only 3 to 5 minutes. The charging method supports scanning code charging, plug and charge, to meet the needs of all national standard electric vehicles.

The site was built by Sinopec (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of Sinopec Sales Co., Ltd., and is the first charging and swapping integrated station of Sinopec's Shanghai Petroleum Branch. In addition to providing oil and electricity energy supply, it also provides supporting facilities such as convenience stores, car washes, love stations, vending machines, and driver's homes. For many private car owners who drive hybrid fuel-electric vehicles, they can realize the one-stop experience of charging (changing), refueling, shopping and leisure.

It is understood that Sinopec's sales of Shanghai Petroleum to accelerate the deployment of new energy development strategy, the recent new refining gas station will also use photovoltaic power generation facilities, and vigorously promote the scale of the new energy industry. This year, the construction or operation of 30 charging and swapping projects and the laying of 20 photovoltaic stations have been completed, comprehensively promoting the transformation of Sinopec into an integrated energy service provider of "oil and gas hydrogen service".
