On the evening of December 29th, the launching ceremony of the "Digital Axis" of the Beijing Central Axis Application was held in the Zhengyangmen Arrow Tower, the first digital image of the Beijing Central Axis Application "Beijing Swift" was released, the "Cloud Central Axis" Mini Program was officially launched, and the Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics invited the public to "cloud tour" the central axis to help the Beijing Central Axis apply for heritage.
Initiated by the Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage, the Beijing Central Axis Heritage Protection Office and Tencent, the "Digital Axis" project uses new technologies such as big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain, knowledge graph, and new cultural creation to dig deep into the historical and cultural connotation of the Central Axis of Beijing and promote the digital protection and inheritance of cultural heritage. Among them, the Beijing Central Axis Digital Exhibition System is a highlight of the project, which will provide a platform for world cultural heritage experts and the public to recognize, understand and participate in the application and protection of the Central Axis. The entire exhibition system will be composed of two modules: the online digital museum and the offline digital immersion exhibition.
At present, the "cloud axis" Mini Program version 1.0 has been launched, the public can understand the heritage points on the central axis of Beijing in the "cloud", appreciate the magnificent beauty of the ancient capital Beijing central axis, and participate in helping the central axis to apply for heritage, the mini program is only 5 hours after the launch of the public, more than 500,000 people participate in creative interaction. At the same time, the offline digital immersion exhibition will create an interactive exhibition that integrates the history of Beijing's ancient capital with the modern urban landscape, and will be displayed at 14 heritage sites on the central axis and at home and abroad in the future.
The Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage also cooperated with Tencent to create the first digital image for the beijing central axis heritage application - "Beijing Swift". According to the characteristics of different heritage sites on the central axis, "Beijing Swift" was designed into 20 different digital images, and the first batch of commemorative digital collections of the Beijing Central Axis Application was derived, and the first batch of 9999 collections was all collected within one hour of going online. Interestingly, based on innovative digital technology, each participant received a digital collection of "thousands of swallows and thousand faces", such as wings that may have the pattern of the Forbidden City, headdresses of the Temple of Heaven, and bodies shaped by "Zhong" characters.
In the future, the city will also release the "Beijing Central Axis Cultural Heritage Sustainable Development Index" to comprehensively present the sustainable development of Beijing's central axis cultural heritage. According to the Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage, when UNESCO experts are stationed in Beijing to investigate, the index will help experts accurately understand the development of cultural heritage in the central axis of Beijing, and at the same time provide a decision-making reference for the protection and development of the central axis of Beijing, so as to achieve the sustainable development of the cultural heritage of the central axis.
