On January 1, Beijing time, the 2021-22 NBA regular season is in full swing. As of today, the NBA regular season has been running for nearly two and a half months. Earlier today, the NBA officially released the latest MVP rankings, the Bucks star Alphabet Brother rose to the top of the list, the Nets Durant ranked No. 2, warriors star Curry fell to No. 3, Harden entered the top 10, and James was nominated.
1. Alphabet Brother (Bucks) last term ranking: 5th
Alphabet Brother averaged 32.4 minutes per game this season, was able to score 27.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.6 blocks, and shot 53.3 percent from the field, ranking in the league's top 15 for all scoring rebounds. The Bucks are currently in Third Place in the East with a record of 24 wins and 13 losses, just one win away from the Nets at the top of the Eastern Conference.
2. Durant (Nets) last term ranking: No. 2
Durant has averaged 29.9 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists this season, shooting 52.4 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from three-point range, and he is the highest average in the league in points per game. Durant has only made a comeback today since the 76ers game on Dec. 17, despite his 33 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists, but the Nets lost to the 76ers. The Nets are currently in first place in the East with 23 wins and 10 losses.
3. Curry (Warriors) last term ranking: No. 1
Curry has averaged 27.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.6 steals this season, shooting 43.3 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from three-point range, and he is second in the league in scoring per game, hitting 172 three-pointers and averaging 5.4 three-pointers per game. The Warriors currently have a record of 27 wins and 7 losses, ranking first in the West. Curry completed the milestone of 3,000 three-pointers in the Warriors' loss to the Nuggets, and he became the first star in NBA history to achieve this honor.
4. Jokic (Nuggets) last season ranking: No. 3
Jokic has averaged 25.8 points, 14 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.4 steals this season, shooting 55.9 percent from the field and 35 percent from three-point range, and he is 8th in the league in points per game and second in the league in rebounds per game. The Nuggets currently have an 18-17 record, ranking 5th in the West.

In addition, Booker, Butler, James, Mitchell, Morant were nominated, among them, with their recent super personal performances, James finally squeezed into the top 10.
James currently plays 37.2 minutes per game, can get 28 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.7 steals, 1.1 blocks, shooting 52% from the field and 36.9% from three-point range, and the Lakers are currently in 7th place in the West with 17 wins and 19 losses. His average of points per game has surpassed Curry's, but it does not count towards the ranking due to the number of appearances.
