At 10:18 a.m. on December 31, 2021, Geely Automobile Jinzhong Company held a grand ceremony for the 350,000th vehicle off the production line, marking another important step in the leading development of the new energy automobile industry in our city, which is of milestone significance for improving the development level of the city's equipment manufacturing industry and extending the automotive industry chain, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of our province, and becoming the strongest voice striving to open up a new realm of transformation and development in the new era.

Geely Automobile Jinzhong Company is the first car manufacturer in the province, is currently one of the most advanced production bases of Geely Group, with high standards of planning, design and construction of world-class modern automobile factories.

The company adopts international first-class production equipment to build an automated production line including stamping, welding, painting and assembly, so as to realize modular, intelligent, flexible and automated product manufacturing. Since the company was put into production in September 2016, the company has produced 350,000 vehicles, with a cumulative output value of 53 billion yuan and a cumulative tax of 3.1 billion yuan; the company has always adhered to the strategic direction of new energy vehicles and firmly implemented the characteristic development route of "oil + electricity + hybrid + methanol".

In order to make the automobile industry in our province bigger and stronger, stretch the vehicle manufacturing industry chain, and create a 100-billion-level industrial chain, the company drives the development of the automobile industry in our province through upstream industry drive, midstream peer traction and downstream industrial chain pull. In terms of upstream raw material procurement, actively promote the rapid development of the raw material industry in the province, 95% of the high-end stainless steel used in the muffler purchased by the company comes from TAISCO, the four-door glass is purchased from Shanxi Lihu Glass, and the three-in-one bracket is purchased from Zhongde Aluminum in Changzhi. In terms of midstream traction at the same level, in April 2017, it invested 200 million yuan to build parts supporting projects, and introduced 12 auto parts supporting enterprises in the way of "attracting business, raising businesses with business, and accurate investment", and achieved full production in March 2018; in March 2018, the Geely Phase II Parts Industrial Park project was launched, and has now settled in Shandong Terry, Zhejiang Yuantian, Xuri Dongsheng and other enterprises. In terms of downstream industrial chain pull, with the rapid development and output improvement of Geely Automobile, it also plays a positive role in pulling downstream industries, and has established good cooperative relations with local enterprises such as Zhongding Logistics, Sanyan Logistics, Tiansen Group, Marriott Meiyue, Xingya Mingdu and other local enterprises, which has played a positive role in Shanxi's new energy industry, equipment manufacturing, talent employment, service industry, etc., effectively driving the rapid improvement of Jinzhong equipment manufacturing industry, and injecting new vitality into Shanxi's comprehensive reform experimental transformation and rapid economic development.

Geely Automobile Jinzhong Company will continue to adhere to the new energy vehicle route, keep up with the pace of the national automobile industry, take the market as the guide and customer as the center, increase research and development efforts, and create star products. At the same time, we will take the initiative to share resources and coordinate development with automobile enterprises such as Dayun Automobile and BYD Automobile in the province, jointly build the Shanxi automobile industry cluster, and contribute to the rapid transformation and upgrading of the province's economy.
