After a year of brewing, the "Wenshe" has finally officially unveiled itself to everyone. The definite name of the word "smell" is to govern learning with the attitude of "smelling the chicken dancing", to cultivate the body with the mind of "smelling the Tao", and to understand the mind with the purpose of "Danqing Wen Dao". "Wen" says "Zhiwen Ye" in the "Explanation of Words", and also notes "Zhisheng Ye"; "Guangyun" interprets it as "Mingda"; "Poetry Xiaoya" has the sentence "Sound and smell in the world". It can be seen that "smelling" is an attitude and a spirit, and it can also be regarded as the ideal of a group of young people to join the WTO!
The association with "smell" is also a way for the seven painters to pay tribute to the ancient sages. The "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest" and the "Seven Sons of Jian'an" are symbols and cultural symbols of Wei and Jin demeanor, and the associations of literati of later generations have been passed down from generation to generation. Seven post-80s painters of wenshe are similar in age, similar in temperament, and like-minded, and in the night talk of the hearth, Dan Qing sings and becomes this elegant collection, when it is the place of excitement to go with nature. The seven painters also have different specialties - Wang Peng, Meng Zhegong figures, Wang Jin, Zhao Leigong Landscape, Yao Shihong, Li Xingjie Gong flowers and birds, Zheng Kegong seal carving and calligraphy, which basically covers the whole subject of Chinese painting and calligraphy in the traditional sense. From the perspective of creative techniques, there are traditions and contemporaries, so that from macroscopic artistic concepts to specific creative techniques, there is a possibility of collision and mutual reference.
The fusion of their respective beauties will realize the beauty of the ideal of Datong——— which is the main purpose of this "Beauty and Harmony" collection, the origin of wenshe, and the main theme advocated under the current great development and prosperity of culture, and the common ideal of the whole society. As painters, we must use our own brushes to depict the great beauty in our chests, and reach the ideal state of Datong under the premise of great beauty!
The seven painters are already in the golden period of their own artistic creation, and taking this exhibition as an opportunity is a presentation of their artistic exploration over the years, and also provides an academic aspect of the contemporary expansion of Chinese painting for participating painters and viewers. I also hope that the fellow practitioners of the Wenshe Society will never stop on the road of artistic progress, and smell the world with Danqing!
