"Wolf Totem" after reading

author:Tianwu Supreme

It was the first time I had seen the grassland, boundless, green and green that rendered the whole earth, and from time to time there were fat horses galloping along the dark yellow road. The clear sky was filled with quiet beauty, but it made me find a thrill.

The horse galloped on the yellow dirt road, looking at the white clouds, but the shadow of the wolf appeared in his head. Looking around, I fantasized about the figure of the wolf that had been dormant here: the gray hair and the strong body were depressed, hiding in the bushes, fighting the vigilance of the sheep with a hundred thousand endurance, and perhaps with a brilliant plan in mind, the glowing eyes stared at the sheep without relaxation---- this is the scene that came to mind when reading the "Wolf Totem". At the moment, it appeared in my mind and lingered.

In "Wolf Totem", the little wolf raised by the protagonist Chen Jin and the wolf who raided the flock with the "desperate plan" are also so sacred and incomprehensible in my heart. I admire their understanding and desire for freedom, their adaptability to the environment, their unity, affection, and untamedness, and what I admire even more is the amazing plan of the wolves, fierce and tenacious, they never send people to the fence, they never succumb to the character, and the primitive wildness in their bones. This character, this primitiveness, emanated from the little wolf's small body and sharp gaze, which made me impressed by it.

Reading "Wolf Totem" is like dealing with a wolf, who does not feel respect? Yes, because of this, the mongols of ancient times regarded the wolf as a totem and respected it like a god. Thus, the wolf created a steppe leader like Genghis Khan, created the strength and strength of the Mongol horse, and created the invincible Mongol army...

In the fourteenth chapter of the Wolf Totem, when Chen Jin looked at the wolf skin flying in the wind on the horse pole, he couldn't help but think of the Mongolian military flag with the golden wolf's head: "... The steppe cavalry charging under the banner of the wolf must have been running with the blood of the steppe wolf, with the bravery, fierceness and wisdom learned from the wolf to conquer the world..." Historically, the Turkic cavalry, with its wolf nature, after being expelled from the Central Plains, fought a new world, and the Turkic cavalry was like a wolf pack, swept through the Eastern Roman capital Oftanbul, conquered ancient Egypt, unified Central Asia, and established the Ottoman Empire across Europe, Asia and Africa. This is the "wolf"!

The same wolf, Li Yunlong in "Bright Sword" also has an understanding: "... We are wolves, a pack of howling wolves! When the enemy meets the enemy, the sword will be lit! Bright sword will win! Isn't this another interpretation of wolf nature? Li Yunlong's wolf nature is a character that is not afraid when encountering strong people, has the courage to show his sword, and has the heart of victory.

Like steppe wolves besieging in groups and plotting victories, they will accumulate strength and never fear a stronger opponent than them. In the face of a powerful opponent, knowing that you are invincible, you must resolutely show your sword, even if you fall, you must become a mountain, a ridge! Yes, in the face of human pursuit, wolves have never bowed their heads and conceded defeat, and their strong desire to survive makes them interpret the chase of life and death so singly! But which hunter saw the reluctance and hatred in the eyes of the wolf when he fell? This made me think of a sentence: the wolf dies, the wolf soul does not die!

Carefully reading Jiang Rong brings us a new understanding and thinking about wolves, it turns out that the character of wolves is not as ferocious as ordinary people think, nor is it as strong as a lion and a tiger, the god of wolves, the soul of wolves, is as pure and sacred as Tengger. In "Wolf Totem", every reconnaissance, deployment, ambush, surprise attack, superb tactics of the wolf, and the use of the sky and terrain all condense the wisdom of the wolf, and these wisdoms have transformed the world into what it is now! Wolves see death as if they are indomitable, and the fraternity and affection among the wolf clan make them more united. Wolves also guard the prairie.

It can be said that without wolves, perhaps the whole world would be different. And now, where is the spirit of the wolf in nature and humanity? Obviously, those of us who are accustomed to listening to "Little Red Riding Hood" may forget it more and more, leaving only the dragon totem among the farming peoples, right?

Reading "Wolf Totem", I seem to see a wolf crouching on the grassland staring at the sheep, hoping that each of us can have a pair of wolf eyes in our hearts!
