Ashley Morgan Smithline (model) filed a lawsuit against Marilyn Manson, who claimed she had been sexually assaulted, sexually assaulted, intentionally mentally harmed, trafficked in human beings and illegally imprisoned.
It's also the fourth woman to file a lawsuit against Manson, following Game of Thrones actress Esme Bianco, Manson's former personal assistant Ashley Walters and an anonymous woman. She was also one of more than a dozen women who accused Manson of sexual misconduct.

Ashley's lawsuit did much of what she had said in previous interviews with People magazine. She said Manson contacted her around the summer of 2010 when Manson wanted to invite her to appear in a movie. As the conversation between the two continued, Manson began to fall in love with her, saying she was the "perfect girl" and asking her to send him pictures.
Ashley said that in November of that year, Manson flew her to Los Angeles and tricked her into letting her appear in a remake of the 1993 classic film "True Romance." Shortly after Ashley arrived in Los Angeles, Manson asked her to move in and live with him.

Because Manson allegedly tricked Ashley from Bangkok to Los Angeles (when she was working as a model in Bangkok) and encouraged her to transition from model to actress by promising to appear in the film, Ashley claimed that Manson's actions violated the Trafficking Victims Protection Act.
"Mr Warner (Manson's real name is Brian Warner) knew the proposals were fraudulent, he did not make an effort to complete the production of the film project, which to date has not been published," the lawsuit said. Mr. Warner only used the film project as a cover to lure Ms. Smithlin to the United States. ”
Marilyn Manson Records, founded by Manson in the late 1990s, is also listed as a co-defendant.

According to the indictment, Manson's relationship with Ashley soon changed, with Manson reprimanding Ashley in front of his band members, adding that Manson insisted she wear makeup and only underwear in his studio, which is also his apartment.
The sexual relationship between the two men was voluntary at first, but according to Ashley, the relationship soon changed as well. She said she woke up unconsciously one day to find her wrists and ankles tied and Manson was inserting into her body. When she told him to stop, Manson told her to "fuck shut up" and "be quiet."
Ashley said Manson injured her ribs during the incident and also caused harm to her guidance.
In an interview with People magazine, Ashley said: "He kept telling me that if we were in love, it wouldn't be rape. ”
Shortly after the first incident, Manson attacked Ashley again, and he choked her by the neck as he forced her to bed. Ashley said she said she said "no" several times at the time, but Manson covered her head with a pillow. According to the indictment, Manson then slashed her shoulder, inside arm and shoulder with a knife and drew her blood.
In addition, unlike the People magazine interview, the lawsuit also mentions that Manson left permanent scars on Ashley's body. She claims Manson carved a permanent imprint of the word "MM" on her thigh.
Ashley also claimed that during her time with Manson, Manson often bit her to leave a mark. "This abuse then escalated to Mr Warner shaking Ms. Smithlin, shoving his hand into her mouth and strangling her."
On another occasion, Mr. Warner threw a Nazi knife at Ms. Smithlin, barely hitting her in the face. Mr Warner also burned Ms Smithlin several times. ”
Manson allegedly whipped Ashley several times, and on one of those occasions, Ashley lay in bed, manson whipped her 15 to 20 lashes, and then Manson posted photos of the scars online. Ashley said the abuse continued for months.
Ashley and Manson had been in touch until January 2013, and she would go to Manson between modeling jobs in Asia, which she said was due to the "severe mental stress" caused by Manson's abuse of her, which she continued to do.
If she said she wanted to leave him, Manson would threaten her life. The lawsuit shows That Manson told Ashley that if she left him, he would "find her and kill her"; and at other times, he would casually tell her that he "could kill her now".
"We strongly deny Ms. Smithlin's claims," a spokesperson for Manson said in a statement to Rolling Stone magazine, "and there are so many errors in her claims that we don't know where to start responding." Since Ashley was Jewish, she also claimed that Manson had mentally abused her by asking her to buy Nazi supplies for Manson during her travels.

"Mr Warner knew Ms. Smithlin was Jewish, but still used this traumatic act as a joke between the two," the lawsuit said. Still, Mr. Warner asked Ms. Smithlin to buy as many Nazi memorabilia as possible. When Mr. Warner gets angry, he also refers to her as a 'dirty Jew' and a 'Jew.' ”
"Mr Warner interfered with Ms. Smithlin's religious and civil rights, as well as her right to be free from sexual discrimination and harassment." The lawsuit adds.
Ashley claims she suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of the relationship because she felt she had to prove herself to Manson.
"Through physical, emotional and verbal abuse, Mr Warner exercised complete control over Ms Smithlin, which led to Ms Smithlin becoming powerless and being brainwashed by Mr Warner," the lawsuit said. ”
Elaborating further on Manson's psychological abuse, Ashley claimed that Manson had seen her in disturbing films: "Ms. Smithlin was forced to watch film footage depicting horrific suicides and child pornography. This made Ms. Smithlin strongly suspect that Mr. Warner was trying to force her to commit suicide. Again, this is due to Mr. Warner's sexually motivated deliberate behavior. ”
Several women, including Manson's ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood, came forward in early February 2021 to accuse him of abuse. Since then, Manson's record label, acting agents and agents have all severed ties with him, and his originally planned TV shows "God of America" and "Thriller" have also canceled his appearances.
