Due to the objective needs of epidemic prevention and control, many places will introduce some "restriction" measures before the arrival of the holiday, which has a certain impact on the holiday tourism and service industry economy, but also opens the window of "micro-travel". Wen Xueqian, member of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the Chengdu International Culture and Arts Center, pays attention to the development of tourism. She proposed that "micro-travel" is an entry point for the transformation and upgrading of tourism under the epidemic, "with Chengdu as the center to develop urban micro-tourism, the rest of the cities and prefectures focus on the development of rural micro-tourism projects, and strive to expand the boundaries of "micro-travel", introduce micro-travel service specifications, and enrich the cultural tourism market." ”

Wen Xueqian, member of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of Chengdu International Culture and Arts Center: Innovative cultural consumption scenes Expand the boundaries of "micro-travel"

In September 2021, the Shanghai Tourism Festival "Urban Micro-Travel" released ten classic routes, and people inside and outside the industry applauded this "win-win" initiative.

What is "micro-travel"? "Micro-tourism" refers to short-distance, short-distance, high-frequency, slow leisure, high-quality travel. At present, it not only caters to the consumption demand of urban people's leisure iteration and upgrading, but also fits the embarrassment of "suspension" when inter-provincial travel is under the epidemic.

In Wen Xueqian's view, jinjiang district's "night tour of Jinjiang", "love line", "December City" and so on are important scenes of urban micro-travel. She believes that Chengdu is "the world's excellent tourist destination city", in addition to traditional scenic spots, there are a large number of little-known, rich types, wonderful experience of natural and cultural resources. "On the basis of the existing urban and rural scenic spots and micro-tourism routes, we should pay attention to the deep excavation of historical culture and local culture, innovate product types, and adapt to a wider range of customers."

She suggested that innovative cultural consumption scenarios promote the integration and innovation of new cultural consumption scenarios and traditional businesses such as digital cultural and creative consumption, immersive experience, and international boutique cultural performances, and shape new cultural consumption brands and experience scenarios. Many scenes, such as art galleries, museums, art parks, and artists' studios, are important themes for micro-travel. The old streets and alleys, back streets and alleys, and old buildings in the city are the memory of the city; the old houses, old trees, old wells and mother's meals in the countryside are the most mellow nostalgia; greenway micro-walking, fitness and leisure, and ecological tracing have become the most beautiful micro-travel scenes in the park city.

She believes that the product system of micro-travel needs to start from multiple sensory experiences such as vision, hearing, smell, and taste, such as launching a series of micro-travel products such as "listening to old Chengdu talk about old Chengdu" and "listening to new Chengdu to say new Chengdu". For example, reading poems such as "Twenty Mile Road Incense Continuously, Qingyang Palace to Huanhuaxi" to start a "journey to find incense", etc., along the poems of Du Fu, Lu You, Li Bai, Su Dongpo and other poets, starting from poetry to read Chengdu and Sichuan, launching a warm and poetic reading micro-line line and so on.

She suggested that with the support of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, 5G, AR/VR, etc., we should integrate into urban micro-travel, develop online platforms and APP for "Micro-travel Sichuan", "Micro-Travel Chengdu" and "Micro-Travel Village", promote new media such as Microblog, short video, and live broadcast, and participate in online and offline integration. "It is necessary to focus on the introduction of standard requirements such as the "Sichuan Micro Travel Service Specification" to standardize and guide the development of the micro-travel market." She also suggested that we should build a three-party service talent echelon of volunteers, community services and professional tour guides to improve the quality of micro-travel services.
