The choir's first event was themed "We Are Together" and the 2022 New Year Charity Chorus was held. The choir is composed of more than 40 children and healthy children suffering from stunting, autism spectrum disorder and other diseases.
Here, they are all "special children": they are special not because of illness, but because they are all particularly loving, helpful, and dare to express themselves. At the same time, with the help of music, we see that every child is an "unspecified child": although the disease makes some babies experience challenges, here they are equally integrated, happy to get along, and use their enthusiasm to sing songs for the 2022 New Year, conveying full of warmth and love.
"At the beginning, we mainly hoped to recruit some children from autistic groups, but unexpectedly attracted many healthy children to join, which also made me think seriously: After more than twenty years of practice, I found that children with autism also have their own thoughts, appeals and emotions. In the face of the incomprehension of the people around them, some parents are reluctant to integrate their children into society, which further aggravates the difficulty of their recovery. We hope that more people will get to know them, especially that there is no difference between this group of children and healthy children in many ways. Like this chorus, even the important role of the lead singer is also undertaken by autistic and healthy children, and the degree of completion is very high. After the launch of this activity, it received strong support from people from all walks of life, teachers, children and parents. In a short period of time, many big friends and children have joined the activities, integrating, helping and performing.
