Biography

This sentence is from the Song Dynasty poet Kong Pingzhong's poem "Baili West Wind Hexiang, Mingquan Falling Dou Valley Debuts." The old cow roughed the cultivation debt, and the grass slope lay in the sunset. "Gusts of westerly winds blew across the plains, bringing with them the aroma of grass; splashing springs, pouring into ditches, and the threshing ground was busy. Only the old cow, which had worked hard for a year, lay idly on the hillside, bathed in the golden sunset, chewing grass, and full of life.
During the painting process, the teacher stressed that attention should be paid to leaving blank space. When painting, it is not to say what to paint, but to leave blank space in the painting, so that the picture becomes ethereal. Count white as black, and think about the location of the white space in advance.
For example, if there is a white space between the house and the mountain in this painting, it will form a breathing relationship that will not make people feel tight, suffocated and stiff. And everyone should pay attention to the sense of rhythm and layering in the process of painting, and try to loosen up a little. The house in the picture has a looming feeling inside, because the teacher draws first and then dyes.
The teacher said that when dyeing, it is better to color the picture after it is dried. Her main color is ink and ochre for secondary colors. In the process of painting landscapes, if you paint a tree after painting a mountain, then the tree becomes something that jumps out of people's sight; if you paint a mountain, paint a tree and then paint a building, then the building is the first thing that comes into view; if you paint a mountain, a tree, and a building and then draw a person, then the character will go beyond the building and become the first. Pay attention to ink paintings do not draw too fancy, pure ink with light ochre, a little warm tone can be added.
