Beijiao Town is the most densely populated home appliance industry cluster in the country. Hu Bing, deputy mayor of Beijiao Town, said that the total industrial output value of Beijiao Town will exceed 420 billion yuan in 2021, more than 50 billion yuan higher than in 2020. Among them, the output value of the home appliance industry accounts for more than 70%, accounting for about 10% of the total output value of the national home appliance industry. Beijiao home appliances are exported to more than 200 countries and regions around the world.
Qiu Yixiang, chairman of Guangdong Minzhuo Electromechanical Co., Ltd., who has been working in the industry for many years, said that in terms of industrial chain driving and supporting capabilities, Beijiao has formed a whole largest and most complete home appliance accessories industry chain in the country and even in the world, and the procurement radius of most accessories is within 50 kilometers.
The industrial ladder is healthy, and "grass grows under the big tree". In the development of local economy, there is indeed a phenomenon of "no grass under the big tree" that after the emergence of a large enterprise, it is difficult for other enterprises in the same industry to develop and grow. Hu Bing said that Beijiao Town not only has a 100-billion-level "big Mac" such as the Midea Group, but also a number of billion-level "cutting-edge" enterprises such as Delmar and Xiaoxiong, forming a good industrial gradient and ecology.
"Retrograde" from design to manufacturing

"Industrial design brings new value and competitiveness, which is an important driving force for industrial transformation and upgrading and high-quality development." Li Xiaying, general manager of Guangdong Industrial Design City, said.
Li Xiaying told reporters that at present, Guangdong Industrial Design City has gathered 8623 design and development personnel, and the core startup area has attracted 283 domestic and foreign design enterprises, with 3 of China's top ten industrial design companies and 7 national/provincial industrial design centers.
Strong industrial design has also cultivated a number of home appliance companies that have counterattacked from virtual to real. Guangdong Delmar Technology Co., Ltd. was originally only a company engaged in home appliance advertising design business in Guangdong Industrial Design City, and now it is a "rising star" in the industry that integrates R&D, production and sales, with annual sales of more than 2 billion yuan.

Zhang Xiaoyi, vice president of Midea Group, said that Midea Group has completed the transformation from a discrete and islanded state of "seven or eight sets of enterprise resource planning systems operated by one company and more than 100 sets of various IT systems" to a data-driven technology group.
While constantly strengthening its traditional advantages, Beijiao Town is also planning new tracks.
The intelligent robot industry has shown a strong momentum.
