Starting from today, the large-scale original exhibition "Great Spirit Casts a Great Era - Special Exhibition on the Great Founding Spirit of the Communist Party of China" will be exhibited in the second exhibition hall of the West District of Shanghai Library, and is scheduled to be exhibited until April 30. According to reports, this is the first large-scale special exhibition in the country with the theme of "the great spirit of party building," and the exhibition is divided into five parts, with the first batch of great spirits included in the spiritual genealogy of Chinese communists as a series, closely centering on the theme of "great party building spirit," and showing the century-old struggle course of the party and the people under the guidance of the great party building spirit.
In this exhibition, the First Memorial Hall of the Communist Party of China cooperated with the Shanghai Library to produce a total of 170 pieces (sets) of cultural relics and documents, including 100 precious historical documents before and after the founding of the Party, a number of important works by Mao Zedong such as the "Report on the Investigation of the Peasant Movement in Hunan", as well as the flag of the First Regiment of the First Division of the First Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army, the Red Army Bag Cloth with six notes written on it, the Zhongshan suit of Ren Bi during the Xibaipo period, and the rifle shot down by Li Zengxiang, the pilot of the Shanghai Branch during the Period of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. In the 1950s, the Shanghai Model Worker Medal of All Walks of Life, the speech of Model Worker Huang Baomei, and the small flat weight used by Yang Huaiyuan were cultural relics and documents.
In terms of exhibition form, the exhibition strives to break through the limitations of traditional exhibitions and adopt innovative experience modes such as communication, interaction and immersion, so that the audience can more deeply understand and understand the connotation and essence of the great party building spirit. For example, in the Xibaipo Spirit Exhibition, the organizers used an imageized sand table and a large battle schematic map background to jointly express the grand image of the Party Central Committee in the small mountain village of Xibaipo that "in the midst of strategizing, decisive victory is thousands of miles away"; in the Daqing Spirit Exhibition, the organizers also set up an experiential interactive device with ice water screw valves, so that the audience can personally feel the hardships of Daqing workers in starting a business under extremely cold conditions.
It is understood that the exhibition was guided by the Propaganda Department of the Shanghai Municipal CPC Committee and the Party History Research Office of the Shanghai Municipal CPC Committee, and was jointly organized by the CPC Memorial Hall, the Shanghai Library, and the Shanghai Municipal Research Center for the Great Founding Spirit of the CPC. In the future, the organizers will link up with the red venues across the country and plan to cooperate with the first batch of great spirit locations to create large-scale special exhibitions, medium-sized conventional exhibitions, small vehicle mobile exhibitions, etc., and vigorously disseminate the great party founding spirit.
