Since the beginning of winter, with the arrival of the low temperature in Guizhou, the Railway Department of Guizhou has comprehensively strengthened the early warning of operation safety, increased the intensity of operation card control at the shunting site, urged the shunting operators to implement the labor safety operation standards, strengthened the special inspection of the use of shunting labor protective equipment, prepared cold-proof, anti-slip, and anti-freeze supplies, urged the operators to wear and use them correctly, and ensured the personal safety of shunting during the winter season.

The Guizhou railway system collects cases of personal safety accidents that have occurred in the railway system in recent years, uses case education, thematic discussions and publicity display boards, manuals, etc., to vigorously publicize the importance of personal safety of labor, enhance the awareness of employees to abide by rules and discipline and self-protection ability; organize and carry out investigation of shunting safety risks, conduct point-by-point and post-by-post inspections of the actual situation such as on-site lighting, line conditions, and station equipment and facilities, eliminate potential safety hazards in a timely manner, and clarify key operation items; Key personnel implement key guidance, especially strictly inspect the implementation of personal safety card control measures for single-post operations and night-time operators to ensure that on-site operations are orderly and controllable.

At the same time, the Guizhou railway department comprehensively sorted out and summarized the existing vehicle anti-slip problems and safety risk points, and included them in the post operation instructions; strictly implemented the personal safety system for picking up and delivering cars and the anti-slip inspection, signing, revealing, and handover system for staying vehicles, and inspected the anti-slip situation of vehicles or trains parked on all lines on the spot, and confirmed that all kinds of anti-slip equipment, manpower brakes and other equipment and facilities were in good condition.
