Automobili Lamborghini announces new appointments in the R&D department, with Mr. Rouven Mohr as Chief Technology Officer, who previously served as Head of Vehicle Verification at Audi AG in Germany, and former Chief Technology Officer Maurizio Reggiani as Vice President of Events and Sports, where he had a brilliant career in the field of supercars, where he spent most of his time at the technical division.

Mr. Maurizio Reggiani will be responsible for the next strategic direction of Lamborghini's entire event sports department. In recent years, the division has scored several of its most important victories in the International GT Championships. Therefore, as the racing industry shifts to an increasingly sustainable future, the appointment aims to further strengthen lamborghini's Squadra Corse racing division in highly competitive and prestigious events.

Born in 1959 in Modena, Italy, Mr. Maurizio Reggiani grew up in the Automotive Valley and has served several high-performance car brands. In 1982, Mr. Reggiani began his career in Maserati Engine Design and Development. From 1987 to 1995, he worked for the Bugatti brand in Campogalano, where he was responsible for the EB110 powertrain. Mr. Reggiani joined Lamborghini in 1995 as Project Leader for Murciélago and in 2001 was promoted to Head of R&D for Powertrain and Suspension. In 2006, Mr. Reggiani became Chief Technology Officer, during which time he developed the most important technology and design innovation strategy of Lamborghini V12, V10, V8T and limited edition models, continuously introducing a number of successful models, contributing to the brand's continued business record in recent years.
Born in 1979 in Saarbrücken, Germany, Rouven Mohr holds a degree in engineering and a doctorate in numerical mechanics from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. Mr. Mohr joined Audi in 2008 as a chassis durability test engineer in the R&D department and has since held more positions. In 2014, he was promoted to Head of Vehicle Project Management for Audi's A3, TT, Q7 and Q8 models.
In 2017, Mr. Rouven Mohr joined Lamborghini as Head of Vehicle Development, managing the development of Aventador, Huracán and Urus models. Two years later, he returned to Audi as head of energy and weight management, and in 2020 was appointed head of vehicle verification, and now returns to Lamborghini as Chief Technology Officer.
