"Clearing dust", that is, the meaning of dust removal. When I was a child, I lived in the countryside of southern Fujian, and every household had to be dusted before the New Year. Qingchen is the prelude to the New Year; qingchen, like the "noisy stage" before the big drama is staged, the gongs and drums are noisy, and the rapid and noisy reminders are busy for a year - it is almost the New Year!

After the eighth year is the year. On the sunny day after the eighth day, the people in the village began to clear the dust one after another. The dust is generally borne by the industrious and capable housewife, whether it is a young woman, a middle-aged aunt, or an elderly bride, there is a flower towel tied to the head, which is the "equipment" of the dust.

Most of the tools used to clean the dust are improvised. Take a handful of sorghum ears tied to bamboo poles, you can use to remove the dust and spider webs that have fallen on the roof beams, corner corners, and the grass in the open place over the past year, the dust made of sorghum ears is soft and hard, suitable for cleaning the common tile houses in the countryside of southern Fujian, and the dust cleaning order is from the inside and outside, from top to bottom. After the house is cleaned up, followed by cleaning up various objects in the house, the breadth of the area is called "horizontal to the edge, vertical to the end", even a few pots on the stove must be taken outdoors, cushioned on straw, scraping off the black ash at the bottom of the pot.

During that time, housewives met and greeted each other from the usual "have you eaten" to "Have you cleaned your house", as if dust cleaning is a very important and necessary thing, just like the final exam of students.

In the cold wind of southern Fujian in the waxing moon, the stream is cold, but the women seem to be not afraid of the cold, shoulder to shoulder, the family bedding mosquito net, as well as the Steamer Basket, Kway Fence, Kueh Seal and so on for the New Year steamed pastries to the creek at the mouth of the village to clean, it seems that only this clear flowing stream can wash these large objects. The washed bedding is directly dried on the pebbles of the creek beach or on the acacia trees on the banks of the creek, and the flowers are green and green, and it looks really good from a distance.

On the day of washing the bedding in the waxing moon, the housewives will generally arrange breakfast to make rice, scoop up the rice grains, keep the rice soup and add water to boil, and the rice soup is used to wash the quilt. When the quilt is dried until it does not drip, soak the quilt in the rice soup and then dry it again, so that the sun-dried bedding is not only dry and comfortable, but also has the unique aroma of rice milk.

As a child, although the village life was simple, her mother was industrious and capable, and she lived a comfortable and ritualistic life. Even when I was young, I liked the bright hall with a few clean windows in the house after the dust, and the fragrance of the bedding after washing. After the dust is completed, it is also close to a small year. All kinds of cooking utensils, large vats and small urns, pots and dishes are cleaned and cleaned, all of which are prepared for the next frying and steaming of various New Year goods.

It is the end of the year again, remembering that I have been in charge of the family for so many years, I have never been as dusty as my mother, and I always think that modern people have a clean home and busy work. In fact, the hustle and bustle of the world, it is inevitable to stir up dust; I think that we should take advantage of the sunny day of the weekend to give the family a full range of dust, and greet the arrival of the New Year festival with a clean and bright home environment, and we should brush away the dust in our hearts and make our hearts white.
