Yang Dai, formerly known as Yang Jikang, was born in 1911 and died in 2016 at the age of 105.
Born in Beijing, Yang Dai moved back to his hometown of Wuxi with his family in his senior year. Later, because she was intoxicated with literary creation, she embarked on the train to the north and was admitted to the Institute of Foreign Languages of Tsinghua University.
At Tsinghua, she met her husband Qian Zhongshu. Perhaps it is a kind of fate in the dark, the two are very compatible in literature and temperament, and friends around them have said that they have not heard the two quarrel. It is even said that Mr. Qian Zhongshu has a "wife-praising habit", and everyone wants to praise his wife Ji Kanghao.

Later, Yang Dai and Qian Zhongshu gave birth to a daughter, named Qian Zhen, and the good time of "the two of us" officially began.
However, fate never stingy when it comes to suffering, but is particularly stingy about happiness.
In 1997, Qian Died of Lung Cancer. The white-haired people sent the black-haired people, and Yang Dai and Qian Zhongshu were particularly distressed.
At the farewell ceremony of Qian Zhen's body, the two elders were not present. Qian Yu's ashes were buried by teachers and students under a cedar of Beijing Normal University. Yang Dai once looked at the cedar tree from a distance, paraphrased Su Shi's words, and wrote, "From now on, where the old mother broke her intestines, under the bright moon, the evergreen tree." ”
After the death of his daughter, Mr. Yang Dai said to her husband on the sickbed: "I want to write a daughter and ask her to accompany me." ”
Unexpectedly, the following year, Mr. Qian Zhongshu also left her.
Perhaps, "The Two of Us" was written by Mr. Yang Dai, accompanying her husband and daughter.
After Mr. Qian Zhongshu died, Mr. Yang Dai said: "Zhong Shu escaped, and I also wanted to escape, but I couldn't escape at all, I had to stay in the world, clean up the scene, and do my due duty." ”
The so-called "cleaning up the scene" is to sort out Mr. Qian Zhongshu's last works, and the second is to complete the wish of "the two of us".
Many of Mr. Qian Zhongshu's creations were published in the future before her death, and Mr. Yang Dai helped her to clean up one by one, one by one, and later published the "Qian Zhongshu Manuscript Collection: Notes Chinese".
On the day of the official publication of the work, Mr. Yang Dai said: "He is happy and proud today, ashamed and grateful, I am his old partner who can understand his heart." ”
As for the wish of "the two of us", it is to use the publication fee of the book to set up a "good reading scholarship" at Tsinghua University, the alma mater of Yang Dai and Qian Zhongshu.
