The famous Spanish art director and set designer Ciel Parondo, who won the Oscar for best art direction twice for [General Patton] and [The Secret History of the Russian Palace], died on December 24, local time, at the age of 95.

In 1939, he entered the film business as a stage set assistant. Later, Parondo was involved in Orson Wells's [Mr. Akadin], and through his talents, he made excellent special effects with a small amount of investment, which impressed Hollywood.
Hill Parondo has been involved in more than 200 films and tv series throughout his life and has worked diligently throughout his nearly 80-year career.
Just before his death, he also worked on the set of [Thirty-Three Days] starring Antonio Banderas.
