Today, the Jiaxing Hungarian Culture and Innovation Week, jointly sponsored by the Jiaxing Municipal People's Government and the Consulate General of Hungary in Shanghai, and co-organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jiaxing Municipal People's Government, the Jiaxing Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism, and the People's Government of Xiuzhou District of Jiaxing City, officially kicked off in Jiaxing.
This event is a large-scale cultural exchange activity between Hungary undertaken by our city under the background of the continuous and in-depth docking of China's "Belt and Road" initiative and Hungary's "opening up to the east" strategy, and it is also the first time that the Consulate General of Hungary in Shanghai has selected a prefecture-level city to hold this cultural event after Shanghai and Hangzhou.

1) Concert: Hungarian Sentiment – Jiaxing

We invite you to come and enjoy a special concert of world-famous Hungarian music repertoire composed by well-known Chinese soprano Niu Qimeng, tenor Zhang Fantao, pianist Jin Yu and An Xinran. This concert commemorates the 210th anniversary of Liszt's birth.
2) Symphony of Colors – Áder Orsolya Xu Nangezi's Two-Person Art Exhibition

Young Hungarian artist Áder Orsolya and her Chinese artist Xu Nangezi may differ in their use of materials—Mulan uses acrylic, while Xu Nangezi uses waving techniques in her work, but the way they express themselves through art is similar. They may come from different parts of the world, but their visual, emotional, and artistic expressions are the same. This is Ms. Mulan's first exhibition in China. Her work has been exhibited in Hungary, Spain and Romania. Her abstract figures will soon be seen on the porcelain surface of the famous Hungarian porcelain brand Hollóháza. Her abstract paintings are highly prized works by Hungarian and foreign collectors. Xu Nangezi is a respected artist in Zhejiang Province. Her language of art and design breaks with the traditional forms of use of artistic materials, and she is passionate about unique experimentation in color representation. His personal artworks are mainly oil paintings, paintings and embroidery, ceramics creation, and cross the fields of fashion design, poetry, and writing.
3) Glittering Colors − Roth Mixau − Art Nouveau Stained Glass Painting Masters Exhibition

Roth Mixau (1865-1944) was the greatest Master of Hungarian Secession glass painting and mosaic art. His outstanding works can be admired not only in Hungary, but also in famous buildings in other countries. This exhibition is an excellent presentation of stained glass paintings and mosaic works by the master. As Roth Mixau puts it, "No other Art Deco style can touch our souls as deeply as stained glass art, because light shines through stained glass and shines through it." ”
4) Exhibition "Smart Hungary" – introducing the latest inventions in Hungary
