At the beginning of this year, the melody written by Lowe to Suzhou Creek was played in a loop on the newly unveiled Suzhou Riverside Guangyin Pier on the north side of the Changshou Road Bridge.

In order to achieve the best results, this version of "Sleepwalking on the Su River" on the Guangyin Pier has changed its manuscript several times and has been continuously polished. Luo Wei considered that there were residential areas nearby, and also painfully subtracted in the arrangement: "Because some frequency bands may actually be transmitted farther, maybe the violin you hear is not so penetrating and loud." Lowe said he was walking around the city in search of answers: "First feel the city. I think what I don't lack is the interaction with Shanghai, like when I was in the riverside, I would also talk to them, I also wrote a song called "Binjiang Sunset Coffee", in the east bank of the door of 1862, bought a cup of takeaway coffee, sat in a lot of yacht docking places, you can see the old Bund from the gap of the yacht, so that song has both the warmth of the sun and a sense of history, I think these are all taught to me by Shanghai. ”
Luo Wei is actually from Guangzhou, was admitted to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music 15 years ago, and thus became acquainted with Shanghai, and chose to stay and work and live after graduation. In Baoshan Wisdom Bay, he has his own studio, every day at dusk, the office location is just opposite the sunset, which makes him feel the other side of the "industrial" Baoshan, so he created the soft and delicate "Xiawan on The Road of The Dragon River".
In the past 8 years, Luo Wei has created more than 200 "piano essays" closely related to Shanghai, such as "Sunset Moments on Huashan Road" and "Serenade on the Viaduct on Yan'an Road". He uploaded these works online and played them very well.
