Zhejiang Health Commission questionnaire: 1,000 yuan per month to supplement you, are you willing to have two children and three children?

This Spring Festival holiday, a questionnaire called "The Cost of Raising Infants and Young Children Under 3 Years of Age" is being conducted throughout Zhejiang Province.

According to public information, in order to gain an in-depth understanding of the cost of raising infants and young children under 3 years old and provide scientific support for the next step of formulating relevant birth policies, according to the requirements of the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Women and Children's Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission produced the "Zhejiang Provincial Infant and Child Care Cost Questionnaire" and issued a "questionnaire star link" to carry out the survey. The respondents are parents of infants and young children under the age of 3 in Zhejiang Province, and the deadline is February 8.

The Paper noted that the questionnaire set questions included "Assuming that the government subsidizes the birth of two/three children by 1,000 yuan per month (from birth to 3 years old), are you willing to have a second/third child?" "In 2021, both spouses will receive financial support from other sources (such as support from the grandparents of infants and young children)" and so on.

The questionnaire also asked respondents about the average monthly purchase of food, nutritional supplements, daily necessities, and household facilities for infants and young children in 2021, and set up questions such as the care choices of mothers during confinement, and the average daily care time of parents and grandparents of infants and young children.

The Paper noted that recently, the Hainan Provincial Health Commission is also conducting a questionnaire on birth policy. In terms of birth subsidies, the question set by Hainan is "Assuming that the government gives a monthly subsidy of 500 yuan for having two/three children (from birth to 3 years old), are you willing to have two or three children?" ”

Previously, in July 2021, Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, took the lead in the country to issue childcare subsidies to families with two or three children, with a monthly childcare subsidy of 500 yuan per child until the child is 3 years old. In other words, starting from the second child, each child can receive a total of 18,000 yuan in subsidies.

Panzhihua's move quickly sparked heated discussions. Public reports show that by the end of 2021, Panzhihua City will declare 701 households, of which 650 families meet the distribution standards and plan to issue subsidies in the first quarter of 2022.
