The Beijing-Zhang high-speed railway is an important part of the mainland's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network, and also an important transportation support facility for the Beijing Winter Olympics, with a total length of 226 kilometers on the Beijing-Zhang high-speed railway (including the Chongli branch line), of which the tunnel part is about 73 kilometers, with a total of 10 stations. China Tower in the tunnel innovative use of leakage cable to solve, especially in view of China Telecom, China Unicom 5G working frequency band high, signal attenuation problems, China Tower joint industry chain innovation and development of 5/4 inch low loss leakage cable, the use of segment coupling technology to focus on optimizing the 5G high band radiation performance, so that 5G signal is more uniform, lower loss, coverage distance is farther, to achieve full coverage of the 5G signal of the three major operators.

For the difficult scenarios of platform, tunnel mouth, sound barrier and other difficult scenarios, China Tower, together with China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom and railway departments, jointly researched the solution, according to local conditions, using macro and micro combination, indoor and outdoor collaboration to solve weak coverage, providing a solution for similar scene coverage nationwide.

In the vicinity of Tsinghua Park of the Beijing-Zhangjiang High-Speed Railway, in order to reduce the interference of noise on teachers and students in the school, a sound barrier with a total length of 830 meters has been set up. In view of the problem that the high-speed rail sound barrier has a large attenuation of the signal of the Hongji Station and cannot meet the coverage requirements, the Chinese tower construction personnel innovated the construction plan and used leakage cable coverage. Under the premise of meeting the load-bearing requirements of the sound barrier, they implanted chemical anchors on the frame columns, connected by angle steel, and attached leakage cables on the angle steel to transmit and cover the signal to the train window.

In the platform area of Qinghe Station of the Beijing-Zhang high-speed railway, the construction unit considered the aesthetics when building the station, requiring the antenna to be installed secretly, resulting in the signal being unable to penetrate the metal ceiling, and the plan was not implemented at that time. In the optimization and upgrading of the 5G network, the Chinese tower construction personnel adopted the BBU+rHub+pRRU+ small plate-like external antenna solution, pRRU was installed in the metal ceiling, and the small antenna was exposed under the ceiling, which not only solved the problem of signal blocking of the metal ceiling, but also maximized the overall aesthetics.

Zhangjiakou high-speed rail station has a construction area of 48,600 square meters, and the indoor distribution system of the three major operators has been opened at the end of December 2019. The station platform relies on the signal coverage of the nearby macro station, and does not do indoor distribution, but the coverage effect is poor due to the cover of the station roof. China's tower construction personnel used the high-speed rail station wall to add a new supporting wall pole, install operator RRU and antenna, and solve the problem of weak coverage of the high-speed rail station platform.

At prince edward high-speed rail station, the top of the station platform is a metal fully enclosed structure, and exposed equipment cannot be installed. The initial plan is covered by the surrounding macro stations, and the local area effect is not ideal, and it is necessary to implement station platform signal reinforcement. With the support of the railway department, the Chinese tower construction personnel share the 25-meter railway private network communication tower in the station, and add two pairs of poles facing the station direction at 15 meters and 13 meters of the railway special network tower tower to achieve high-quality coverage of 5G signals on the platform.

At the beginning of November 2021, CCTV put forward the requirements for high-definition live broadcast communication of the Winter Olympic EMUs, which must ensure the continuous and stable coverage of 5G networks along the route. In order to meet the 40Mbit/s upload rate requirements of CCTV Winter Olympics live broadcast, communication companies need to use 5G equipment upgrades, low-frequency re-cultivation and other technologies to achieve ultra-high uplink rates. How to organize the construction of the railway that has been opened for operation is a difficult problem facing the communications industry. The State Railway Group attaches great importance to it and organized a work conference on the 5G network optimization of the Beijing-Zhangjiang high-speed rail public network on November 10, 2021 to promote the solution of 5G upgrading and transformation. With the strong support of the State Railway Beijing Bureau Group Corporation, China Tower Beijing and Hebei Companies organized construction units to use the "skylight" construction time from 0:00 to 4:00 every day, and with the active cooperation and support of the Beijing Communication Section of the State Railway and other units, after 40 days of overcoming difficulties, the 5G network optimization and upgrading task along the Beijing-Zhang high-speed railway was completed on December 27.
