2021 Yantai Business Answer Sheet | offshore execution of US$4.43 billion Trade in services set another good record

China Shandong Network - Perception Shandong February 9 news (reporter Lu Weixia correspondent Mou Xiaolong) reporter learned from the Yantai Municipal Bureau of Commerce that in 2021, Yantai's service trade will create another good result! Successfully approved as China's service outsourcing demonstration city, held the China (Yantai) Service Outsourcing Leaders Conference, and the annual offshore execution volume of service outsourcing reached 4.43 billion US dollars, ranking third in the province.

From the perspective of business structure, the execution volume of offshore information technology outsourcing (ITO), business process outsourcing (BPO) and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) of enterprises in the city was US$2.1 billion, US$270 million and US$2.06 billion respectively, accounting for 48%, 6% and 46.5% of the offshore execution of service outsourcing in the city, respectively, and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) such as industrial design services, pharmaceutical and biotechnology research and development services developed rapidly.

From the perspective of regional layout, the offshore service outsourcing contracts of the three major service outsourcing demonstration sites in Zhifu District, Development Zone and Laishan District amounted to 3.05 billion US dollars, and the implementation amount was 2.61 billion US dollars, accounting for 60.5% and 58.9% of the total respectively, and the demonstration and leading role appeared.

From the perspective of the international market, Yantai City undertook the execution of offshore service outsourcing in Japan and South Korea, Europe and the United States, which was 2.35 billion US dollars and 1.18 billion US dollars respectively, accounting for 53% and 26.6% respectively, and the Japanese and Korean markets developed rapidly.

From the perspective of talent structure, the service outsourcing industry employs 120,000 people, including 90,000 people with university degree or above, accounting for 75%, and the team of high-end talents continues to grow.
