First, the physical structure of the tiger
To draw a tiger freehand, we must first have a deep understanding of the tiger's body structure and the changes in the tiger's shape in motion. We can think of the various parts of the tiger as blocks of bricks, square, round, rectangular, etc., which helps to understand the shape of the tiger and its perspective changes.

Draw a tiger with a pen or slow, or center or flank, or drag the pen or retrograde, move with the heart, and properly represent the object, so that the pen and ink and the image have vitality. Pay attention to the blend of color and ink color. Drawing tigers with a pen to see the square in the circle, too square is lost in thickness, too round is difficult to show the backbone.
Third, the steps of drawing a tiger
(1) First formulate the dynamics and arrange the general position on the drawing paper. From the binocular drawing, the perspective relationship of the binocular eyes determines the angle of the tiger's head and the size of the entire tiger. After drawing the eyes, push the nose, upper and lower lips, teeth, and ears proportionally, all with ink lines.
(2) Adjust the color of the tiger (ochre with a little ink), dye the forehead, nose and head in turn, pay attention to the white ground that should be left, and the place where the white hair can be exaggerated. Quickly draw a tiger pattern before the color dries. The interpenetration of ink and color can produce the texture of the hair.
(3) After the tiger head is painted, the whole body is painted with color, and the color should be based on the structure with a pen. The white part of the abdomen and tail can be connected to the contour shape with a clear water pen. As with the painting of the head, be sure to draw the tiger pattern with heavy ink before drying. When painting, grasp the key parts of the shoulders, waist, hips and other twists, so that it is easy to grasp the large proportions and momentum. Be careful to take advantage of the watermark effect at the edges of the color. With a pen, the tiger is drawn from the back to the sides, and finally the tiger's claw is outlined, and the edge line can be partially checked when painting.

(4) Use different ink colors to dye the three-dimensional sense of the eyes, nose and mouth. The eye is drawn with garcinia and a little stone green, leaving a highlight. The nose and tongue are dyed with rouge and akebode, and the white light is appropriately left. Finally thrush and whiskers. I don't advocate using white powder to hook white hair and dye eye highlights.
(5) Make up the scene. The supplementary scenery can be written, but it needs to be coordinated with the tiger, and the above points, whether it is a painting of a mountain tiger, a downhill tiger or a group of tigers, are applicable.
The beautiful markings on the tiger's body change with the movement of the muscles, or elongate, or bend; with the action of perspective, the spacing between the stripes and the stripes is either expanded or dense. The grasp of the distribution trend and various changes of tiger stripes is the key to painting a good freehand tiger. When the freehand tiger is shaped with tiger stripes, the drawn tiger is shaped by a hook edge line, which is also the difficulty of painting a freehand tiger.
Most patterns can be intuitively used with a rough pen. It is necessary to come out with the eyes of the tiger and spin in rhyme with the tiger.
