The circular pointed out that on February 7, a picture of a supermarket in Baise City selling "sky-high vegetables" was circulated on the Internet. On the picture, a cabbage is labeled with the price tag of "CR Vanguard", showing that the unit price is 7.16 yuan / kg, and the total price is 20.08 yuan.

After receiving the report, the bureau organized law enforcement personnel to carry out verification work. After verification, the cabbage is sold by China Resources Vanguard (Baise store), the unit price and sales amount reflected on the Internet are true, the price of Chinese cabbage sold by the store is the same as the market floating price, and the profit is within a reasonable range.
The circular mentioned that as of now, the bureau has received a total of 25 complaints and reports from the masses and netizens on the random price increase of individual farmers' markets, supermarkets and stalls, and 3 cases have been filed and investigated.
The Nanguo Morning Post client reporter noted that the Baise City Market Supervision and Administration Bureau issued the "Reminder Warning Letter on Regulating the Market Price Order During the Prevention and Control of the New Crown Epidemic in 2022", and sent a price reminder text message to urge operators to strengthen price self-discipline and operate in good faith and legally; organize system-wide law enforcement personnel to carry out price inspections and inspections, and severely crack down on illegal business behaviors such as hoarding and price gouging.
