Can departments develop treatment guidelines? Recently, a netizen nicknamed "Lotus Seed White" on Weibo broke the news that the medical department of his hospital requires each department to formulate its own treatment guidelines, not to copy the existing content of foreign and domestic, and requires the department to write out the modification content and reasons for the existing international guidelines. What are the clinical guidelines concept? According to Wikipedia, the clinical guideline, also known as the clinical practice guideline, is a document intended to provide guidance on medical decisions and guidelines, and describes the diagnosis, management, and treatment in specific areas of healthcare. Medical guidelines will generally include collated medical consensus or healthcare best practices.
An article in the Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery entitled "Basic Concepts and Norms of Clinical Guidelines and Expert Consensus" introduced that clinical guidelines refer to guidelines related to the diagnosis and treatment of clinical diseases and are the basis for standardizing various clinical activities.
