On February 11, according to techcrunch, with the help of popular films such as "Mandalorian" and "Black Widow", Disney+ subscribers added 11.8 million strongly in the first fiscal quarter. Disney bundled Disney+ and ESPN+ with The Hulu Live service to boost growth.
Michael Nathanson, an analyst at investment bank Moffett Nathanson, stressed that having 2 million subscriptions is the result of an automated bundle with Hulu Live. Another 2.6 million subscriptions came from Disney+ Hotstar, generating about $1 per month per user.
As of the end of 2021, Disney+ has 129.8 million total subscribers, while Netflix's total paid memberships are about 222 million, which shows that Disney still has a certain gap with Netflix in terms of total subscribers.

Disney Chief Financial Officer Christine McCarthy said about a third of the $33 billion in total spending went to sports.
Joe McCormack, senior analyst at Management Consulting Firm Third Bridge, said: "In the summer of 2022, Disney+ will launch new businesses in 42 countries, and its international business growth may be more important than in the United States."
