How much does IT talent earn in Central Asia?

I graduated from the National Technical University of Karaganda with a degree in Computer Engineering and Software. The third grade began an internship at Wowoppay, and later got a formal job as a Java developer, mainly responsible for the support and development of application and payment integration.

The average salary in the region is 220,000 tenge, or about $515. I earned more because there was extra income – graduate scholarships.

I will set aside 10% as a "financial buffer" and 15% for investment. Having a brokerage account, the portfolio is not large, but it is better to have than not.

My biggest expense item is rent. My colleagues and I shared a two-bedroom apartment, plus utilities, internet bills and subscriptions, not less than 80,000 tenge per month, or $187.

I have a Honda element that is simple and cost-effective. Spends 10,000 tenge per month, or $23, for maintenance. Parts and spare parts are ordered in advance, and fuel consumption is 10,000-20,000 tenge per month, or $23-46.

I buy groceries at the supermarket and cook my own meals. They also eat out, but usually for social purposes. Large expenses are paid in installments, making money with investments.

The plan I made was not to live on the full salary, but to allocate the budget and understand the actual costs.

Zakhongir Jarapov, City of Hujand, Manager of IT Company

How much does IT talent earn in Central Asia?

I am the co-founder of "Livo" IT and currently work as a manager. Salaries start at 4,000 Somoni, or $354, in addition to training and bonus income. It's hard to say how much you earn each month, depending on the month.

I would save about 2000 somoni, or $176. My goal is to save a good future for my children. But I don't make other investments.

The average amount spent on food per month is 1500 somoni, or $133. Transportation costs 500 somoni, or $44. Big expenses don't come every month, and sometimes buy something for the kids.

I don't spend much myself, mainly for family needs, so I entrust my wife to manage the budget. I will invest in the development of the company and new creations and am currently working on a detailed financial plan.

How much does IT talent earn in Central Asia?

I studied at the Department of Electronics and Information Technology at The National University of Sumy, Ukraine. Currently working at MegaGroup, he is a front-end developer. I have been working for 3 years and I have been working on SMM for 1 year.

The local salary is about $1500. SMM development has about $1300 in additional revenue.

I save money in US dollars and also invest in the TON cryptocurrency.

The cost of food in Uzbekistan is not high, and I spend about $200 a month on this. Have your own house so no rent and drive to work every day.

I spend money more willfully: swimming, fitness, eating big meals, buying clothes. So there is no budget, and it is not particularly knowledgeable in this regard.
