In January this year, BYD's total sales volume was 95,180 units, an increase of 126.1% year-on-year. Among them, new energy passenger car sales of 92,926 units, an increase of 367.6% year-on-year.

In this regard, the industry generally believes that SINCE 2020, BYD has successively released heavy technologies such as blade batteries, DM-i super hybrids, and e-platform 3.0, which have formed strong competitive barriers in the new energy track. And BYD has entered a strong product cycle, following the hot sale of the Dynasty series, the ocean series (including the main plug-in hybrid warship series) and other follow-up product matrix is also accelerating expansion, from the perspective of online attention, a variety of models have hot selling potential.

Among BYD's many models, Han and Tang are the flagship models of sedans and SUVs, respectively. Judging from the sales volume in January this year, these two flagship models have also ushered in a big explosion.

As a medium and large car with an average transaction price of more than 250,000 yuan and positioning itself as a medium and large car of its own brand, Han has achieved sales of more than 10,000 for five consecutive months, and its sales volume in January this year reached 12,780 units, ranking second in the sales list of medium and large cars in the Chinese market, and it is the only private brand luxury medium and large car in the Chinese automobile market that can confront the German BBA head-on, breaking through the encirclement of the joint venture brand in the market at this level.

Also doing well was the flagship SUV, the all-new Don, which sold 9,060 units in January. Among them, the sales volume of the new generation Tang DM reached 8847 units, an increase of 481.3% year-on-year. The Tang DM-i model, which focuses on large space, high driving texture and high intelligence, has become the main force of sales growth of the Tang family. Fully meet the needs of users for ultra-low fuel consumption and long battery life, and firmly lock in the head camp position of the SUV market of more than 200,000 yuan.
