At the "802" military exercise memorial hall, the big characters "If there is a war tomorrow" made journalists and friends stop and think. 20 years ago, the "802" military exercise was conducted in Zhangbei, which was not only a test of the combat capability of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Composite Army, but also a test of the steel defense line on the northern front. Winter to spring, time flies, the drill field filled with gun smoke, is now a red education base, in 2011 it was included in the second batch of national red classic tourist attractions, in 2012 was included in the second batch of national defense education demonstration bases, becoming the first state-level national defense education demonstration base in Zhangjiakou City.
