On February 24, Jianlong Group held the first science and technology conference. The meeting was conducted by video and presided over by Ruan Xiaojiang, vice president of Jianlong Group.

In 2021, Jianlong Group initially formed an innovative organizational structure of "8 professional committees, 9 professional and technical research institutes, and 11 handicraft research institutes", opened up the technical management channel of "group-research institute-subsidiary", and basically formed the Jianlong scientific and technological innovation system.
The Group's professional committees, professional and technical research institutes and subsidiaries focused on the group's key and difficult common problems, and carried out more than 240 scientific research projects to achieve the output of a number of high-quality scientific research results.
11 projects, such as the "Development and Application of Key Technologies for the Production of Ultra-Clean and High-Homogeneous Bearing Steel" led by Jianlong Beiman Special Steel, and the "Intelligent Identification Technology and Application of Scrap Grade Based on Machine Vision" jointly developed by Shanxi Jianlong and Beijing Tongchuang Information and Communications, won the provincial and ministerial science and technology progress award. Nine projects, such as "Energy-efficient Heat Exchange Vertical Heat Recovery Coke Oven Complete Set Technology" developed by Heilongjiang Jianlong and "Low Quality Waste Heat used in Social Heating Complete Set Technology Development in Steel Plants" developed by Fushun New Steel, passed the evaluation of achievements organized by China Iron and Steel Industry Association and China Metal Society, of which 2 achievements were rated as "international leading" level and 7 achievements were rated as "international advanced".
The Circle of Friends for High-end Scientific Research Cooperation of the Group has been expanding, and has established strategic cooperative relations with a large number of top domestic scientific research institutes and colleges and universities such as University of Science and Technology Beijing, Northeastern University, Central South University, etc., and carried out all-round cooperation in the fields of green, low-carbon, efficient, safe and digital intelligence.
In 2022, the idea of Jianlong Group's scientific and technological work is to do a solid job in the research and development of key scientific research projects at all levels, take the project as the starting point, build a collaborative innovation platform and ecosystem, cultivate the team of Jianlong innovative talents, and take a solid first step towards innovative enterprises.
It is necessary to further improve the management system of scientific and technological innovation; promote a number of key scientific and technological research projects; strengthen the infrastructure of innovative enterprises, create a learning and exchange platform, improve scientific research capabilities and levels; and establish an inclusive and encouraging innovation talent training mechanism. Strive to achieve more than 2% of the group's annual R&D investment intensity; more than 50 key scientific research projects at the group level, the completion rate of scientific and technological research and development projects at all levels has reached more than 60%, and the contribution of scientific and technological innovation to the efficiency of enterprises has been significantly improved; 3 provincial innovation platforms and 1 national innovation platform have been cultivated; and more than 5 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards have been awarded, more than 300 patents have been applied for, and more than 35 standards have been participated in.
Huang Chao, a senior expert of the Group, interpreted the "Jianlong Group Science and Technology Incentive Measures". The Group has set up four categories of awards: Science and Technology Award, Science and Technology Star, Science and Technology Cooperation Award, and Science and Technology Cooperation Contribution Award. Among them, the maximum bonus amount is 5 million yuan.
Gao Quanhong, Vice President of the Group, read out the "Decision on Commending Jianlong Group's "Science and Technology Star" and "Excellent Science and Technology Project". Dai Shihao, director of Heilongjiang Jianlong Rolling Mill, and 15 other scientific and technological workers from the group's headquarters and subsidiaries were awarded the title of "Jianlong Group Science and Technology Star", and 21 scientific research projects such as Jianlong Beiman's "Development and Application of Key Technologies of High-cleanliness Bearing Steel" were awarded "Excellent Scientific Research Projects".
Zhang Zhixiang, chairman and president of the group, pointed out in his concluding speech that innovation is the main battlefield for realizing the transformation to a better enterprise. He highly summarized the need for the Group to carry out scientific and technological innovation at present.
The first is not to innovate and there is no way to live. In the future, the steel industry will soon enter the surplus stage, and if it does not take the road of scientific and technological innovation, it will soon be eliminated.

It is necessary to increase the intensity of input, establish a sound organizational structure, strengthen the introduction and training of scientific research talents, and increase the proportion of scientific research personnel; strengthen the construction of basic conditions such as laboratories and pilot bases; establish a sound institutional mechanism, and increase the intensity of incentives.
Third, supervisors at all levels and organizations at all levels should become the standard-bearers of innovation, and become experts in discovering, creating and sharing value. The supervisors at all levels of subsidiaries and organizations at all levels must not be absent in scientific and technological innovation work, and they must clarify the division of labor and consolidate responsibilities.
