Jelly Bean Man adds PC and PS cross-platform online teaming

Jelly Bean Man developer Mediatonic announced yesterday (February 22) that the game has significantly improved its cross-platform online play capabilities between PC and PS platforms. In the official announcement, Mediatonic said: "As part of the mid-season update of the game, players are free to team up and enjoy any available play list in Jelly Bean, including squad mode, double-row mode, main themes, and so on. ”

"As long as you and your friends have linked their Epic accounts to Jelly Bean, you can use the 'Invite Players' feature to play together."

This feature builds on the previously more limited cross-platform connectivity features in the game. Prior to this, players had to craft custom lobbies to play with friends on different platforms. Mediatonic also allows you to play against people from other platforms by pairing, but you can't team up with them.

At the same time, the announcement also previewed the game's new mode "Candy Thief". The new mode divides the player into two factions: Thieves and Guards. "Thieves walk through the levels, stealing candy, and the guards need to find and arrest them and send them to jail. But don't worry, thieves can press a button to release their teammates...". At the same time, the developer said that the new model will be launched soon, and more details and trailers will be announced in the near future.
