Last week, PC Gamer interviewed Valve President G Fat, and when talking about Steam Deck, someone asked if G Fat Valve would develop its own subscription service, or if we could play Game Pass games on Steam in the future.
G Fat replied: "I don't think building a subscription service at this time is something we need to do, but for Game Pass users, it's obviously a welcome option, and we're more than happy to work with Microsoft to make that happen on Steam." ”

And there's precedent for that, and EA's game subscription service, EA Play, was added to Steam in 2020. But the version of the game available on Game Pass is slightly different from the one released by the developers on Steam, which can make it a bit tricky to log in to Steam.
However, Xbox boss Phil Spencer has also been positive about Steam Deck, which may also push Game Pass to land on Steam as soon as possible, after all, it is a win-win thing for both sides.
