A pure and sincere heart, using jade as an analogy, is pure, flawless. The heart is flawless, that is, there is no thief in the heart. Those who can see through the affairs of the world will naturally have no thieves in their hearts; those who can have no doubts in their hearts will naturally have no thieves in their hearts; those who can be calm with their hearts will naturally have no thieves in their hearts.
To conscience is a great force, Zhu Xi and Wang Yangming both advocate "preserving heavenly reason, destroying people's desires", this is the heavenly principle, that is, it needs to be maintained; and Wang Yangming advocates the "heavenly reason" is that there is no need to seek externally, just invent the original mind, that is, conscience; as long as what does not violate conscience is heavenly reason, and the qualifications and things lead to the unity of knowledge and knowledge.
The thief in the heart, since it is hidden in the heart, then light the heart lamp to conquer it. First, we must have a sense of self-examination and not let ourselves lose at the starting line.
As early as the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Taizong said such a sentence: With copper as a mirror, you can wear a crown; with the ancient as a mirror, you can know the rise and fall; and with people as a mirror, you can see the gains and losses. It is precisely because of these "mirrors" that Emperor Taizong opened the rule of Zhenguan. Haven't other emperors in history heard of such a thing? They just don't reflect on themselves, and thus they are thieves.
With a heart of goodness, one must conform to heavenly reason and walk on the path of justice. As long as it is what people want, it is an immortal light in people's hearts, and a righteous path for a person's heart to be good.
A firm heart, the heart must have the truth and determination, and must not bow to vulgar and other forces. As long as you have a firm belief, life will not lose its way, and it will maintain a basic quality as a citizen. This is very easy to say, and the reason is understood, but it is extremely difficult to do. No matter what kind of situation you face, you must adhere to this original heart on the way forward, which is the true inner "beauty" of a person.
A clean mind, constantly removing one's own selfish distractions. What are selfish distractions? Beyond basic desires, or what they both think are wrong, are selfish distractions. One's desire can have, but this scale is critical, and we cannot allow it to grow; if we do not control the development over time, it will become "extreme". Therefore, seeing openly, understanding through, and understanding thoroughly is the key to people's clean hearts, that is, the reasonable performance of conscience.
A good beginning and a good end, a thief who can break the cultivation of karma, and the achievements of school, family and career do not need the tenacity to end from one end. Zeng Guofan said: "Whoever has extreme difficulties in everything is a good man." ”
The Book of Poetry: "There is no beginning, but there is an end." "There are very few people who can maintain their original intention at the end of their cultivation. At the beginning of the practice, people lack experience, are always ambitious, and bravely take the first few steps under the illumination of ideals. However, with the improvement of cultivation, the more detailed problems encountered, various practical difficulties emerge in an endless stream, making people overwhelmed and confused. This is actually the embodiment of the lack of means of doing things.
If you can't face up to the difficulties, adjust your strategy in time, and become more courageous the more setbacks, it is easy to change course and give up the road you have already traveled. But people who can't start and end well, even if they change to other directions, will eventually become a climate.
Be cautious, you can break the thief of the matter, and the reason why many people are sloppy is that they have not found the right way to do things. The way to do things is the most taboo to slow down the front and the back, but should be prepared for the front and the back.
To be cautious is to be fully prepared before doing things, and to be cautious and cautious after things have been effective.
Lü Kun of the Ming Dynasty once said: "Do not let go of idleness, and use it when you are busy." "Take precautions before things start, learn to see the inextricable connections between things, and don't let go of small details, so that you can be at ease when things are really busy."
After successful or partial success, we should be cautious and "be careful to walk the ship of ten thousand years", first, the existing experience of caution is not necessarily applicable forever, and it should be appropriately adjusted; but it is prudent to face new and subtle changes, discover new problems in time, and prevent small mistakes from accumulating into large damages.
The root cause of calming down and collecting qi can break the thief of virtue, doing things slowly and urgently, and not being able to prepare for the future and being cautious, lies in the impetuousness of the heart. The thief who is "impetuous and impetuous" not only makes things impossible, but also easily harms his own moral cultivation, and he should use "calm his mind and qi" to break this thief who has accumulated morality.
A person is impetuous, and the impact may only affect one person. But impetuousness expands further, forming a depressing atmosphere in modern society. Enterprises are impetuous and eager to make profits, so a series of serious problems such as poisoned milk powder, poisoned eggs, gutter oil, and tofu residue projects have arisen. Thus, the moral problems arising from impetuousness are expanded into legal problems, environmental problems, and finally the survival of human beings as a whole.
Society is made up of individuals, and if everyone can be less impetuous and meditate on self-cultivation, then the moral atmosphere of society can spread endlessly.
He is a pleasant face, a thief who can break through the crowd, an impetuous person, and is easy to speak harshly to people. Because their hearts are not quiet, they are also very arrogant to people, and once they catch the small mistakes of others, they make a big fuss and even scold. This is certainly not the law of the many.
In the eyes of others, those who speak harshly are like kings in the world, and no one dares to offend. So such a person seems to have a kind of majesty. But people who only know how to speak sharply are essentially just people who have not cultivated enough. They are like a half-filled kettle, smug and complacent, unable to reflect. Over time, the people around him saw through this, what other close friends could he have?
And treating people with a pleasant face reflects a minimum of respect and self-cultivation for people, on the basis of which strict self-discipline and leniency towards others can break the thieves of the public and win good popularity and reputation.
