In the latest episode of "BrotherS I Know", the stars of KBS 2TV's "Married Once" took stock of their hit dramas! "Married Once" partners Oh Yoon-er, Ki Do-hoon, Lee Ki-hee, and Lee Sang-er all appeared together on the JTBC variety show that aired on September 19, and they talked about their chemistry and experience in shooting popular dramas.
In the show, Song Jiaxi, a lover who plays a fan favorite in "Married Once", and Song Do-hee and Park Hyo-shin, who played the fan's favorite in "Married Once", mentioned that the two got along very well during the filming process. The two partners also shared that their dressing styles and tastes in real life are so similar that they accidentally pose for a "couple" more than once, which has caused a sensation in the audience of the show.
Jiang Hudong then asked the on-screen couple if they had ever thought about dating in real life, but the actors immediately closed the possibility. Lee Explains: "It was work, and I think Lee Ji-hee has always made it clear (during filming)." Mimicking Lee's professional, cheerful tone, he recalled: "She would say, 'Lee Sang-er, let's get to work.'" What is our play? Oh, it turns out [there's a romance]. Let's hold hands'. Lee Soo-geun commented: "So Lee Ji-hee really drew a line. Lee agreed, making everyone laugh: "Yes." My approach is] 'Let's get to work.' Let's make some money.
The four stars also talked about some romantic scenes in the play that aroused heated discussion among the audience. Wu Yun'er mentioned the 15-year-old age difference with the screen couple Qi Daoxun, which was a bit stressful during the filming process, and she also mentioned a romantic scene that became popular for various reasons.
She said: "We had a lot of scenes of holding hands or hugging, but this is the first time [Kidohun] has filmed this kind of scene. This is also his first time shooting a love drama." She went on to explain that a scene where Kito-hoon romantically embraces her from behind comes out of the picture more like he chokes her neck. Super Junior's Kim Hee-cheol watched the footage of the scene and joked: "It looks like a thriller scene. If you add the thriller-style background music, it's exactly like a kidnapping.
When asked if there were any similar sensational scenes in the romantic scenes of Lee Sang-ji and Lee Ji-hee, Lee Replied: "There was a scene where the audience reacted a lot and it had to do with our 'hand chemistry'. There's a scene where I ask [Lee Ji-hee] to be my fake girlfriend and go on a blind date I don't want to go to, and she holds my hand.
