From the figure, Nvidia uses the new PCIe 5.0 16pin external power supply on the compact PCB. At the same time, NVIDIA has a new PG136C reference PCB design for partners. However, the decision on whether to adopt it is still in the hands of the major cardholders themselves.
This graphics card features a typical 2.5 to 3 slot large heatsink + compact PCB design with thermal fins, windshields, and backplane components that are longer than PCBs. It can also be confirmed that the non-public RTX 3090 Ti will also be equipped with a new power connector, the 12+4 (or 16pin) PCIe Gen5 connector, which can deliver up to 600W of power.
In contrast, the same RTX 3090 Serax uses two 8-pin connectors, while the Ti model will use only one 16-pin connector.
It is worth mentioning that the Shadow Star series is exclusive to the Asian market, and there is news that it has no intention of launching a public version (Founders Edition).

The RTX 3090 Ti will go on sale on March 29, and major board players are expected to launch their own non-public models at that time.
