I put on a black cotton jacket and cotton pants, a cotton shoulder on my upper body, a pair of straw shoes on my feet, a hat commonly known as a locomotive for pilots, and two flower warm sleeves, and disappeared into the reckless field...
That afternoon, it was another weekend, my brother rushed to Gangli by bicycle from Yanghu Lake, he rode a Type 28 permanent bicycle, because he was 12 or 13 years old, young and short, he could only ride from under the girder, often riding half a circle in the opposite direction, and then half a circle in the opposite direction, so he rode for more than ten miles, tired and sweaty. Wearing an jacket on the upper body and a pale yellow striped velvet pants on the lower body, these clothes and jackets and bicycles are packaged and mailed by the aunt who is a salesman in the Kaifeng Gulou Department Store, all of which are produced by regular knitting factories, belong to high-end products, and are famous brands.
On this day, Cheng Shibin, the secretary of the brigade, happened to be at my house, chatting with his mother, talking about the blind date of his son Cheng Baosheng, and was scratching his head for clothes. In the depths of my memory, there are often churning waves: the time spent in Heze No. 2 Middle School in the early 1980s. Since the early days of reform and opening up, the market economy has just started, and everyone is not rich. Bumping into adolescence again, just starting to pay attention to a little bit. My upper body is a green military uniform worn by military service personnel, 2 pockets, which my brother has worn for 3 years in college, delegated to me, this dress was given to my brother when my cousin served in the Laiyang army; the lower body is ordinary tube pants, made by regular manufacturers, no longer lengthened with old pants; pedal plastic sole shoes, have been out of the thousand layer bottom. There are more than forty students in my class, two-thirds from the countryside and one-third of the children in the city; the rural students only have a pair of cloth-soled shoes, and on rainy days, from the classroom to the dormitory, all wet and wet all day, waiting for sunny days, using the noon break to dry.
Although not very wealthy, my mother went to great lengths to support our brother in his studies. In the second middle school, at noon in the teacher's restaurant to eat, generally 0.5 yuan per meal, 1 to 2 steamed buns, about 15 yuan per month; rainy days, bicycles, and then to the second department store, specially purchased a raincoat, green, thick, double-layered, front and back can be used, bicycle, the wind can not move, at that time 17 yuan a piece; in the second year of high school, and on October 17, 1984, added a Shanghai brand watch, single calendar (the first day shows 17 digital), as if it is 40 yuan a piece. My mother's salary at that time was more than thirty yuan. This was extravagant enough at the time to make my classmates envious.
In recent years, the unit often issued clothes, and changing the past overalls to casual wear is a qualitative change. In winter, thick, thin down jackets, woolen coats, leather skirts, and brands are also good, wear out, it is also high-end, and there is face. The first hand is also concerned about the food, checking every day whether the vegetables are fresh, whether the taste is moderate and delicious, which is enough!
Life tells us that as long as you do something good and practical for everyone, even if it is a lunch, everyone will remember you!
