This morning, the much-anticipated Marathon Asian Games Selection Race finally started, the starting point of the race was set at Dongguan Road in Binjiang District, Hangzhou, the main route was turned back on Wentao Road and Zhijiang Green Road, and the race route adopted four laps of 10 kilometers + a 2.195 kilometer form.

The selection competition is the only selection competition before the Asian Games, with a total of more than 100 athletes from 23 provincial and municipal teams and individual participants from all over the country, of which 46 runners registered for the marathon selection, including 29 male runners and 17 female runners.
In the end, Yang Shaohui, who created the best place in the Chinese men's marathon at the Tokyo Olympics, won the championship in 2 hours, 11 minutes and 52 seconds with a last-minute sprint, Andinqing Dongzhibu ranked second with a difference of 3 seconds, and Dong Guojian ranked third.
In the women's marathon, Zhang Deshun, who was 42 kilometers ahead, was overtaken by Gansu Zhang Xinyan in the last minute, ranking second with a five-second difference. Zhang Xinyan's winning time was 2 hours, 26 minutes and 56 seconds, and Henan's Lu Ying was third.
It is worth mentioning that this race is Zhang Xinyan's real first horse, which defeated a very strong opponent and broke Zhang Deshun's record of undefeated domestic marathon.
After the 3,000-meter obstacle course and 5,000-meter event, Zhang Xinyan, who tried the marathon, made us look forward to it more.
