T130 Tarzan stamps

In May 1987, Zhang Jiping began to create at the request of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications to issue T130 "Taishan" stamps. To this end, he went through a large number of classics and carefully understood the boldness of "out of reach of the mountains, the town kun wei and not shaking", "swallowing Xihua, pressing the south heng, driving the song, Yi Bei Heng, the most mountains of the mountains" (Oriental Shuo). After nearly half a year of painstaking creation, the four artworks finally stood out among the many participating schemes.

How did the Taishan stamp, the head of the Five Peaks, come out?

The success of T130 lies in the selection of the Song Dynasty painting method that best reflects the cultural meaning of Taishan, and then organically combines it with modern painting. First of all, the painter broke the existing pattern of the Dai Temple, and concentrated the most representative HanBai, Tianzhao Hall, and Stele Group in the Dai Temple; chose the most mysterious moment of the Snow Queen Temple as the main image; and made a new combination in the pattern - more essentially portrayed. Secondly, while pursuing the artistic conception, the painter also pays great attention to the performance of the typical image in the picture. Of course, this understanding was gradually clarified in the creative process. The fourth picture in the original manuscript was "Extreme Sunrise", and friends in the Shandong art and philatelic circles bluntly asked Zhang Jiping to express the "exploration stone" of "independent Yanlan and Xiongzhi Dongtian", because it is a symbol of regional spirit. Due to the painter's meticulous intentions, condensed and exquisite composition and skillful and accurate brushwork, the majestic momentum of Mount Tai is realistically displayed, making the majestic posture of the "head of the five mountains" leap to the square inch.
