History: Also known as "Cui Gai", also known as "Gai He", "Wen He". Guangxu in 1900, Feng Changsheng was selected and bred. According to Mr. Zhao Lingmei's "China Orchid Integration", Feng Changsheng, a native of Shaoxing Tangdi Township, whose natives make a living by farming, orchid picking, yulan and selling orchids. Qing Guangxu Nongyin Chun found lotus petal spring orchid in the Shaoxing Mountains, and later sold it to Shao Zhiyan, the owner of the Canghua Room in Hangzhou. At that time, Shao believed that this was the unique in the Chunlan lotus petal type, plus the color was like emerald, so Shao named it "Cui Gai Lotus". In the later Guangxu period, the Shao clan sold it to Wu Yongqing, the lord of the Jiufeng Pavilion in Hangzhou.
Features: Compact plant type, oblique leaf posture, thin and narrow central leaves, slightly wider side leaves. The leaves are dark green, the texture is waxy and shiny, and the elasticity is good. The leaves are 4-5 sheets, the leaves are about 8-15 cm long and about 0.6 cm wide. The petiole is finely harvested, the leaf margin is serrated, the leaf surface is smooth and shallow "V" shaped, there is a slight row of dragons, the nose is open, and the leaf tips are sharp and thorny. The side leaves are pocketed and exposed; the flowers, emerald green and pure, five petals are divided, the outer three petals are short and round, thick and sticky, tight edges, and the ends of the petals resemble a spoon. Arch hug blooms, one word shoulder or slightly falling. The flowers are moistened and lustrous emerald in color, with purple-red stripes at the base, and the petals are horned at the ends, and the roots are not thin. It is short and round, with thick flesh, purple-red radial lines on the inside, and two petals slightly closed. The round tongue is put down, and the long opening is slightly rolled backwards.
