Knowledge of road car geometry
The geometry is complicated, but you only need to focus on Stack and Reach.
1, Stack is the K in the figure above, the vertical distance from the five-way to the top of the head bowl. The cushion is ultimately adjusted according to the length of the individual's legs, and the height of the human body is determined after the adjustment is made. Then the bigger the Stack, the more upright the person is, and the easier the waist; Conversely, the smaller the Stack, the lower the person, and the easier it is to suffer back pain or injury.
More critically, there is almost no room for the Stack to adjust, and the frame determines the Stack value. So this value is very critical, very critical, very critical, important to say 3 times.
2, followed by the Reach value, that is, L in the above figure. The smaller the Reach, the more upright the person, the easier it is; The larger the Reach, the lower the person is (comment alerts have been modified). But this value does not need to be looked at, we often use STR.
STR, or Stack/Reach. Generally, this value is not provided on the geometry diagram, and you need to calculate it yourself. This value is divided by 1.45, < 1.45 is the aggressive frame (that is, the usually advertised climb, comprehensive frame), > 1.45 for comfort, generally advertised as an endurance frame.
